Cafe Buendia

Early Saturday morning managed to beat the Henley-on-Thames usual crowds. Freshly made breakfast roll & this really hit the spot. Support local, folks! I need to try the Calzones next.

Calzone to die for, it was unsealed as you can see from the picture so that it looked to be exploding out which was brilliant. Definitely the best calzone i've ever had, my dad had the pizza and was slightly less impressed so I'd recommend the calzone or pasta for sure. A very cozy restaurant which you'll love as it feels very authentic.

Saturday lunchtime. Seated us at once. Great authentic food, fresh & arrived quickly. Really Fantastic service. Very attentive staff, think our waitress was called Octavia, sorry if thats wrong, she was friendly, efficient and nothing was too much trouble. Lovely ambience. Highly recommend. Will be going back!

The best cafe to go for food in miles! A week doesn't go by that we don't have at least one meal here - incredible staff, great food, amazing atmosphere. The owners are so friendly. Worth a lot more than 5 stars!!!

We visited recently with 3 children for an evening meal. The food and service were outstanding, and prices a lot cheaper than the local chain restaurants. We'll definitely be back when we're next in the area.

You could easily miss the tiny frontage of what looks like the rather good deli on Bell St Henley. Tucked behind the front counter is an equally tiny restaurant, but oh boy this is the real taste of Italy. Friendly service, a limited pasta and Pizza menu, but dishes to die for I had calzone, the best I've ever had outside Italy. 4 of us dined a different dish and each, but the same response superb.

Just had the grande breakfast which was very tasty, service always good, my only gripe is that on your website your menu shows 6.95 for a grande breakfast but it was in fact £9.95,which is does show on your in house menu, I would suggest you update your website prices, this is not a complaint just an observation

Cosy atmosphere, warm and friendly staff and absolutely the most delicious cakes! I would walk over hot coals to eat another slice of their cherry cheesecake.. or maybe the coconut cake.. or apple cake.. its all amazing! Good coffee too. Definitely worth popping into this fabulous little cafe if your sweet is calling 🙂

Popped in for a light lunch. Our first visit. What a find! From start to finish a real pleasure. Attentive staff. Beautiful food and a lovely atmosphere. This place has bags of character unlike the many chain owned cafés that surround it. Well worth a visit.

Just been here for breakfast very good size grande breakfast sausages were a slight let down but everything else was perfect, coffee delicious and lovely welcoming staff. Definitely recommend it and will call again when in the area🙂

The guy serving us was very friendly and had a great sense of humour. Would highly recommend this establishment.

Went in for a pot of Earl Grey and a cooked breakfast for my son. Lovely decor, friendly staff, clean plate from my son and tea in a proper ceramic tea pot.....

Loved it! Fine breakfast, fine service. The place is not big but was crowded. However the service was not delayed! Quick service with delicious dishes. Employees were friendly and had good care. I hope they keep the service quality as is

Myself, family & friends have used cafe buendia for many years when visiting HRR and Henley masters. It always hits the spot in terms of service, food, and lovely friendly staff.

Really love coming to this sweet little place. The staff are always so friendly, welcoming and attentive. The food always tastes fresh and delicious, and the prices are reasonable too. A great spot to people-watch if you can sit by the windows!

Very welcoming staff. Loved the feel of the cafe. We were lucky to arrive when pizza slices were coming out of the oven and it was really tasty. Full breakfast was nice too.
