Ricky and his team at Skinners Bodyshop have been amazing to say the least. They have been tremendous after my wife had a nasty accident. The vehicle was repaired to the best of my expectations and Ricky loaned me a brand new Kia with delivery miles as a courtesy vehicle. I have huge respect for his staff from call handlers to the transporting driver who collected my vehicle and returned it. I would also like to say thank you to Matt the service manager. Great service, got me booked in the same week I called up after my car failed its MOT at another garage who couldn’t book in the work straight away. Resolved the issue very quickly and the staff were very helpful.

5 star service. Called up on a Thursday asked if they could have a look at it which they did on a Friday and the cat had gone on it they ordered the parts and it was done on Tuesday. So fast and lovely staff. Thank you 😊

I've used Skinners for all my vehicle servicing over the last seven years and have always experienced excellent customer service and clear pricing. My vehicles are often returned valeted, and they offer courtesy cars, or even courtesy e-bikes! Would recommend!!

This has to be the friendliest garage I've ever used. Courteous and professional staff. Go beyond to be helpful. I arrived early and they started on my car straight away which was brilliant as I waited in their lounge area which was spotless with free tea or coffee . Would 100% recommend . A very happy atmosphere and I'm a very happy customer

We had an issue with our van door not shutting. We are on holiday and due to drive home tomorrow so we needed urgent help. Every person at Skinners was helpful, accommodating and friendly. They temporarily fixed the door, allowing us to safely travel home and only charged a very small fee for the service. We were offered coffee/hot chocolates and had a look at the beautiful classic cars on denis play there. The ladies on the office we friendly and chatty. Very highly recommended! Thanks to all who helped us.

Matt (workshop manager) was brilliant. Got us out of trouble at no notice by fixing our exhaust himself, despite being really busy. Exceptional service.

Whilst on holiday discovered that coolant was very low. Found Skinners via Google search and called in to purchase top up fluid. They didn't sell it but very kindly topped up for me FOC. If we lived locally would use them all the time with the very friendly, helpful service received

I was unfortunate enough to have someone crash into my 5 day of VW Golf leaving the pristine face it once had looking rather sad for itself. I wanted it to go to a VW approved garage because it was so new, and wanted it put back to how it was considering that the accident wasn't my fault.

The car was collected and shipped off to Skinners of Rye as I had heard good things about the attention to detail they put into repairing cars within the body shop and I cannot fault the quality of the repair. Not only does it look like the day it rolled off the production line, have tighter and neater panel gaps than Wolfsburg allow, I have maintained all guarantees with my car. The staff were friendly, professional and made to feel welcome.

Should I ever have to use a body shop again (I pray that I don’t), I will not hesitate to use skinners again.

Had Cosmetic work done on a Jag F Pace. Highly professional job. While in a internal part was found that needed replacing. A photo was sent showing the part. Skinners managed to very quickly source and install the part.I dealt with Ricky and James who were both great. Outstanding on all levels. All the work completed was perfect. A great experience and Highly recommended. The body work was exactly what I wanted.

A super no-nonsense great value company. Would 100% recommend them. I booked in to have my door hinges replaced on my VW Golf as they had failed, they sourced the parts and had my car in for repair within one day of me getting my quote. The work was completed super quick Peter, Ricky and the body-shop team were very efficient and super friendly they made clear the work that had to be carried out, with all of the prices and the time frame. Extremely happy with every aspect of servicing and, in particular, customer service. Given a lovely courtesy car and Matt has bent over backwards to help in securing purchase of another car. Open and honest from the outset about expectations in 'fixing' my poorly car. Trust them implicitly. Could not be more friendly, accommodating and 100%happy with my first experience of this garage.
