The Market Garden

I've been going to the market garden for fruit/veg and plants over the years as it's always great quality and good prices. I've now sampled the delicious pasties, samosas and today I popped in for takeaway breakfast too which was equally as tasty, good value, hot and fresh. The best bit about the place is the really friendly team which to me makes all the difference, thank you.

The service, the food and the flowers are of the highest quality here and at an affordable price. I don't go anywhere else for my food or flowers. The staff in there are the friendliest and most helpful staff around. They are the keystone of the Rubery community.

Have just spent a busy Sunday afternoon in my garden planting some absolute bargains from the Market Garden bought that morning. Dropped in to treat myself to an Acer I'd spotted and came away with a load of 'reduced and past their best stock ' on sale. We all know they just need a little TLC to get them up and going so I ended up laden with goodies. Kudos to the shop manager for moving plants on before they are beyond recovery. Lovely chat too....

I love this store! Even more so after the bakery being opened. Best Vegan sausage rolls ever! And the bread and pasties are amazing! Fruit and veg is bang on! And the staff are always smiley and friendly! Always a nice experience!!!!

I had loaded jacket potatoes which we're sublime, REAL cornish pasties from Cornwall and the carrot cake speaks for itself the best eatery by Far in Rubery!!!

The best Cornish pasty I have ever tasted, and we couldn’t believe the size of the cakes either! The amount of jam that was in the Bakewell tart that came in a pie style container! It was huge!! Perfect for my midweek lunch cravings. Can’t argue with the pricing either for what you get, much better then going to any big brand store.

Great selection of plants, fruit and veg at great prices. Strawberries are magnificent! Friendly service, too....highly recommended.

I love this little shop. Loads of bargain prices to be had. The quality of the fruit and veg is brilliant. There is a good variety of frozen produce and groceries all at prices to suit every pocket. A great little shop that also caters for pets, garden items, flowers, plants and those of us with a sweet tooth. The staff are always friendly and helpful, keep up the good work guys 👍

Lovely staff and always kept clean and presented well.

Tried their in house baked bread, much better than the supermarkets, and at 99p was not expensive, also had one of their giant Bakewell Tarts brilliant, be warned heaps of jam at the bottom Yummy 😋most definitely visit again when in Rubery, check it out you will not be disappointed 😀

I love this fruit and veg shop. Staff are very friendly. They have alot of variety down to freezer foods. Pet food, snacks, drinks and even a flower service. It's an overall a top shop to get everything you need mostly. Thank you for all your continued help during this covid19 outbreak and serving your customers via delivery and still opening the shop. It's very much appreciated.

Fantastic hot sandwiches, homemade pies, sausage rolls and various homemade indian sides. Scotch eggs are to die for and very reasonably priced.
Don't forget to grab your homemade loaf also..

Lots of bargains..most of my buys are plants. Staff are great very welcoming. Fresh veg and fruit. Cut flowers house plants..biscuit bargains. Just what Rubery needs because apart from fresh veg and fruit in a couple of smaller supermarkets it's the only shop that offers this service. .I recommend..Andy

Great place where you can pick 1,2 or as many spuds,toms,fruit & veg with out buying a big pack that I won't use.
