Wow!!!!!👍 I had been told how amazing this ‘emporium’ was but nothing could prepare me for the cornucopia of goodies inside. I spent some time giggling at the great cards and restocked my supply of ‘funnies’.
The range of knitting wool was dazzling and the jigsaw collection one of the best I have seen - the way that they were displayed makes it easier to find what you want. Prices were excellent and I really enjoyed my visit.
My only quibble is that there is no cafe - visitors have to go to The Range - and this curtails a really long mooch. Although it would be expensive I feel that the addition of a good cafe and toilet facilities would increase your sales.

You can only tell how good somewhere really is when things go wrong.
Returned a pair of boots that were splitting where all modern walking boots tend to (near the toes). Mandy on the till simply asked for proof of purchase (which we showed from our banking app) and she spent several minutes hunting for our receipt which she found, and called Matt the manager over. Matt was very empathetic and understanding and offered an exchange without any hassle. Lovely people, great service would definitely recommend.

Looking around for camping chairs. Found exactly what I wanted at a price I wanted to pay, and they were also delivered. Charlie's has a selection for quite a diverse selection of hobbies and pastimes. It also caters for DIY and professional

Affordable prices, helpful staff. I would say they have nearly everything here for your home, gardening, Diy, equestrian, poultry or outdoor wear needs. A brilliant store, also great parking.

Overall a wonderful place to get mowers, strimmers, chainsaws etc. Huge thanks to the team on the mower department, they even gave us a pile of free key rings for the kids!

I purchased a chainsaw this morning @ Charlies Queensferry. The reason for my feedback was due to the customer service I received. KARL was very knowledgeable on all of the Chainsaw brands. We both settled on the stihl 181C. Karl really went out of his way. This Guy was excellent and I just did not want it to go unnoticed. Can you please inform him to keep up current level of enthusiasm in Charlie's products. I wouldn't advise going anywhere else. 10 out of 10 to Karl and the Team.

I went into the Charlie in queens ferry and was looking for wellies this morning. I had no real intentions of purchasing boots over the price of £50 as this was my budget. I was browsing and got approached by Kat. She was fabulous, super informative and patient with me while I tried on multiple brands and styles. I ended up purchasing boots twice my intended budget, all due to being informed of the benefits and features of the boots I was trying on from Kat. This lady needs so true recognition and deserves a medal in customer service. Well done Kat and you’re a true asset to the store, thank you for your time and services today.

Great customer service. Stihl chainsaw specialist stopped what he was doing to take a look at my saw. 5 minute fix. All done while I waited and with friendly chat along the way. Brilliant.

A great store with a wide variety of goods from pets, garden, tools, clothing, kitchen, craft, equestrian, diy, electrical, snacks, seasonal, camping, furniture, toys, etc. I must have missed something out, I'm sure. TIP - if you search their website for something and it isn't found, it doesn't mean they haven't got it! Did I mention their prices are very reasonable? Well worth a visit. Shoes - I missed out shoes, work shoes, casual shoes, ladies shoes. Wide range of Auto Glym car care products plus lots of other car care products. Update - their website showed out-of-stock for an item I wanted but went anyway and they had plenty! Always worth physically checking. 17 Mar 24 - the seasonal display is given over to garden furniture for the summer. And barbecues.

I recently visited Charlie's Stores with a malfunctioning chainsaw, unsure of what to expect. However, I am delighted to say that my experience far exceeded my expectations, all thanks to the wonderful shop assistant, Paul!

From the moment I walked into the store, Paul was attentive and eager to help. He took the time to diagnose the problem with my chainsaw, explaining the issue in detail so that I could understand what went wrong. His extensive knowledge and informative approach made it clear that he was truly an expert in his field.

Not only did Paul identify the problem, but he also helped me fit a new chain on my chainsaw. Throughout the process, he was incredibly educational, teaching me valuable tips and tricks to maintain my chainsaw in the future. His friendly demeanor made the entire experience enjoyable, and I felt confident that my chainsaw was in the best hands possible.

I go here for my equestrian products for myself and my horse, very reasonable prices
