We travelled down to West Wales for my partners birthday, called here for Sunday lunch on a recommendation of a friend and was absolutely blown away. Lovely setting, amazing food and really friendly service. Thanks for the lovely meal, we look forward to the next visit!

The Stackpole inn is an absolute gem of a pub, beautifully decorated with a lovely cosy warm feel. Staff are super friendly and accommodating. We visited for a couple of drinks and some snacks on our way through the village after seeing so many good reviews. The great reviews speak volumes for this lovely dog friendly pub, would definitely recommend a visit. We will be back to give the food menu a proper try as it all looked excellent.

Great lunch - the rustic rolls are beautiful! Lovely crusty, crunchy on the outside and soft + delicious within! The available fillings are excellent ... my personal fav being the blue cheese with bacon at just £1 extra! Well cared for beers complete the experience! 😁😋🍻

Didn't stay here, came for lunch. We were the first ones in but the staff showed the same level of care to the rest of the diners that came in after us. I was defeated by the fish and chips, huge portion, proper chips , delicious!
Overheard others saying the lamb cawl was the best they had ever had, so that will be my order next time.
Dog friendly too

Cannot fault this place whatsoever. We had a great few days staying here, eating and drinking here. The staff are so friendly and fabulous and the atmosphere is warm and cosy. The rooms are bright and clean, and The food is exceptional! Thanks Team Stackpole Inn for going that extra mile for hubby's birthday and our little staycation, we had the best time! :0)

Best food we've had quite a while - the ox tongue starter and the mushroom and leek lasagne were particularly delicious. This isn't a place with delusions of grandeur that serves tiny portions - we were properly refueled after a day's walk. Prices are reasonable for 2023 considering the quality of food.

Stayed two nights. Superb location, really great food. Walking in the area is superb, some of the best beaches in the UK. Good choice of well kept real ale - so staying is definitely an advantage!

Such a nice place! We had evening meal and drinks here February 2023, the staff were very welcoming and friendly and our food was delicious.

We had the salmon & caviar starter (very nice) and the burger for main course. Beef was cooked to perfection and the bacon was nice and crispy. Good selection of beers too. Highly recommended!

Seems to get quite busy even in February, so probably a good idea to book a table online.

Had a lovely meal here. Very accommodating staff finding us a quiet table where we could have the pram and our baby, even though we didn't book.
Had delicious food at lunch. We had the cawl and the walkers lunch and had the bakewell and crumble tarts to finish, which I would recommend all.
The beers were excellent also. Definitely will be coming back again.

Lovely Sunday lunch here today, great service and setting in this olde type pub, great having the opportunity to take our dogs followed by a nice walk on fresh water beach to help the food go down was a real bonus, will definitely be back .. Diolch 👌🏼

Excellent country pub, lovely beer garden and welcoming staff. We were lucky enough to be able to eat here (two of us who dropped in on the off chance of a table). The host was kind enough to give us a table.

Very good menu choices, well presented and very tasty. Unfortunately no pictures of the food, but trust me, you will not be disappointed.

My wife had the seabass, and I had the burger (plus two starters). All were delicious, and the service was first rate.

Prices were very reasonable, I would have no hesitation in recommending this eaterie. We will definitely come here again if we are in this part of Wales again.

We went to The Stackpole Inn for lunch on my Dad’s birthday, having booked online based on Google reviews. As we were on holiday in the area, the deciding factors were that the place was open on Mondays while so many others seemed to be closed, and is dog friendly. Thankfully we had picked a good one. We ended up visiting Stackpole Estate in the morning and walked the 1.5 mile riverside footpath which was lovely and would be recommended if visiting the area. There’s a bit of a steep hill as you get close to the pub but it’s worth it! We had a lovely meal, the decor and atmosphere was nice while the quality of the food was superb, followed by a nice walk back to the car.
