Charlotte created me the most beautiful gown for my wedding day, 5th November, 2023 and I couldn't have been happier. From our initial chat via zoom, I immediately felt that she got me and I understood why I hadn't been able to find "the one" in a bridal shop. Quality and beautiful fabric were so important to me but mainly the cut of the dress, how well it was put together and that it suited my shape. Despite living at almost opposite ends of the country, Charlotte always accommodated the few times I was able to travel down to see her. She even made me a veil and hand embroidered the most beautiful Eastern Bluebird on it for me, this had special meaning as well as being my something blue. On the day I felt like an angel, the dress fitted me perfectly and I felt like I was floating around. The comments I got were amazing on how well my dress suited me. I genuinely feel it was one of the best decisions I made about choosing for the wedding, well, apart from the man I married! Charlotte is an understated genius, talented and has a true, genuine passion for her craft. If there had been 6 stars I'd have ticked them all.

I would like to thank Charlotte for the amazing job she did on my wedding dress. When I first went to see her I had an idea of what I wanted but was unsure about certain aspects of the dress. It's hard when you yourself don't actually know exactly what you want, but I have to say that with Charlotte's expertise in fabric and dress making - we were able to work together to achieve something that was completely perfect for me. My vision was quite a complicated design with several elements which all had to come together including silk, mesh and lace. I was also quite particular about the lace I wanted and the placement of it. Charlotte was super patient and worked with me at every step to ensure I was 100% happy with each part of the dress. I would recommend her services to anyone thinking of getting a bespoke wedding dress made!

Working with Charlotte was phenomenal from start to finish. From my first flurry of confused emails, asking her for guidance; to our initial meeting going through ideas and iterations; to meticulous fittings; and finally, a breathtaking creation. Charlotte's patience, advice, kindness and creativity made the most beautiful dress I've ever worn, and the most amazing wedding dress I could imagine. She incorporated my ideas and desires, fears of being too hot in the Tuscan summer sun, my heritage, and her own magic, and I couldn't be happier with the result. I'd recommend her every time.

It is difficult to condense the magical experience I had working with Charlotte into a mere ‘review’ but here is a little attempt.. from start to finish Charlotte’s intuition and attentive, patient approach has allowed me to basically dream up the dress from my childhood dreams. From thinking up the concept to choosing materials, to then meeting up and thinking iteratively and adjusting along the way, the whole process was an absolute joy and felt intimate and special. Charlotte understood immediately I wanted a dress full of story, secret messages, and romanticism but with a modern rock/twist and a sprinkle of drama :). She takes your ideas and uses her amazing creative mind and dressmaking skills to give you the absolute dream dress. I will cherish the memories of working on this dress with her forever and will always be grateful to her for how special she made me feel on my wedding day.

Working with Charlotte has been such a dream come true. The design process, fittings & travel, and the dress itself just blew me away. I am so fortunate to have found her. She took my ramblings, combined them with her wonderful ideas, and put it all together and made a masterpiece. I do not know if I will ever feel as beautiful as I did on my wedding day. We actually took photos in an art museum and so many people took photos of me in the dress that I felt like I was a piece of art. I am so happy that I did not go to a traditional bridal salon and opted for this bespoke experience. I will cherish this dress and memories I made in it for the rest of my life.

I had such a specific idea in my head of what I wanted my wedding dress to look like that I knew I would have to go bespoke. When I came across Charlotte's website I knew she was the perfect designer to bring my ideas to life. Each dress she makes is as individual and unique as the women who wear them. She is an excellent listener who can interpret ideas into reality, and she isn't afraid of a challenge! I really wanted an off-the-shoulder style but didn't want to be restricted in my movement as I wanted to be able to hug and dance the night away to my heart's content. Charlotte came up with a design with a beautiful off-the-shoulder strap which could be removed to leave a strapless dress.
I was just overjoyed with the end result! It was everything I had hoped for and more. The cut and fit is perfect, and the intricate embroidery is just stunning. It was a joy to go through this process with Charlotte, and I would highly recommend Wilden London to anyone looking for something a little different.
To top it all off, Charlotte has been such a help as I get my dress dry cleaned after the event, giving advice and getting in touch with companies on my behalf. Thank you Charlotte!

This is a very long overdue review. I went to Charlotte soon after trying on dresses in shops, unable to find "the one".Every dress felt very heavy and unflattering. Enter Charlotte... I felt I had trouble conveying my perfect dress, Im not the best at describing things. However, she got it in one. It was like she had read my mind and a fellow lover of sparkles and green and pink colour combos, I knew I found the perfect dress maker! We didn't need many appointments and I didn't feel like I needed many as I had absolute trust in her. The whole process was effortless and fun! I had my perfect dress and felt like a princess on the day. My wedding dress has been safely tucked away, but Im hoping to go back to Charlotte so she could work her magic on turning it into an item I can wear over and over again...

Charlotte was the best wedding dress designer I could have hoped for - we have now become friends! She designed me a dream dress, initially coming to her with a bucket load of ideas she guided me in the right direction and it really couldn’t have been better. The dress felt so me! Not only did she design my lovely, romantic pink dress, she also created a light up dancing one for me too!

An experience in a million, from the first meeting where Charlotte patiently listened to me run off the extensive list of what I thought I wanted, none of which was coherent, to the day itself where I felt incredible. The process is a memory I will cherish forever. More importantly the skill that Charlotte processes is incredible, her ability to take your words and actually create a physical dress out of that is just amazing. Her pattern cutting is second to none and her attention to detail is perfection. Making delicate silk flowers and hand embellishing everything, involving you as the creation comes to life. The final piece is literally your dream dress, so I would without hesitation recommend if you want something a little different, something that is 'you' and also if you want to enjoy your fittings as if you were with an old friend.

Charlotte was just amazing! She created the most light weight, flattering and elegant dress for our laid back September Greek island wedding. I had read about brides just knowing when they found the right dress. This has happened to me before, only that's how I felt when I first met my husband and never with a dress! I tried on so many dresses and liked lots of different elements of different designers, fabrics and styles. Eventually, I found Charlotte and she was exactly the laid back and versatile person I needed to create the perfect dress for me. I had found a really pretty beaded French lace that we used to create the bodice and the veil and Charlotte reworked the fabric to create a completely new and bespoke design. I met her at least once a month and slowly watched her creation come to life. She was flexible up until the very last moment with detail changes and adjustments and put up with me all the way through! It was the best experience and I'm so glad I chose to do it instead of buying a pre-made and designed dress, it's such a privilege to have something hand made and created just for you! Everyone at our wedding was blown away by my dress. Thank you so much for everything Charlotte!

The most incredible designer and artist experience. While going bespoke may feel daunting at first, her vision, creativity and skill knows no bounds and is done with the aim of making you feel confident and like your best self. I had a dress but as our wedding changed with the pandemic, so did my desire to wear something that felt more authentic to who I am. I just don't think there are words to describe how much I love my dress, when I put it on after I had my hair and makeup done it was like something had clicked and it was just beyond perfect. I was comfortable the entire time and I just felt like charlotte had bought my dream to life!

I contacted Charlotte at the start of planning our wedding, as I'd never felt comfortable with idea of wedding dress shopping experience and didn't like anything that I'd seen at a wedding fair. The moment Charlotte replied I knew I was in good hands!.... Charlotte patiently listened and put me at complete ease and which made handing over my mums silk screen printed wedding dress much easier. Charlotte was great at refining my ideas and guiding me in a direction where we were able to stay true to my ideas and make sure the dress would look great.

I definitely wasn't the creative type or very good at articulating what I wanted, but charlotte was always patient, answered my questions and reassured me throughout the whole process. The dress was so comfortable on the day that I very almost didn't change into my cheongsam! I was never worried about moving the wrong way and popping a button, the dress always moved with me and looked so flattering. Everyone commented on how beautiful my dress was the attention to detail, with the bow, the detachable train and the veil, it was just perfect. Charlotte even put in extra handles because I was worried about tripping on the hem which definitely made my life much easier on the day! Charlotte was also kind enough to help tailor my brocade silk cheongsam which I wore dancing in the evening - her skill was amazing and what is normally a not very comfortable dress not only fit like a glove, but was so flattering. My dress fittings with Charlotte were one of my favourite part on planning our wedding, I never felt rushed or like any idea was too silly. Charlotte's skill, attention to detail and professionalism is something that you won't find elsewhere.

Charlotte took my vision and turned that into the perfect wedding dress. Not only did she give me options and refine details over a number of meetings, the additional creative and beautiful details she placed on my dress were divine.

Her skills are amazing and she created the most beautiful dress that was exactly as I'd dreamed, having not been able to find what I wanted in shops.

The hand flower details she created were of those oh high-end designers. She was professional and timely in the creation of the dress. I loved collaborating with her to bring my vision into reality.

From the moment I walked into Charlotte’s gorgeous little workshop I felt at ease. I had a picture in my head exactly of what I wanted and Charlotte brought it to life, even better than anything I’d dreamed of! From the initial stages and regular fittings and the quality of her work from the general fit of the dress to all the intricate details (in mine all the coloured lace petals were hand painted!!), everything was incredible. If you are unsure as to whether a bespoke dress is right for you, I can promise you it was the best decision I ever made and one of my favourite memories of our day! It’s a shame that I’ll (hopefully) never get married again 😂 as I would love to have another made!! 💜

100 stars for Charlotte! I knew I didn't want to wear a traditional dress and I knew that all the things I was looking for wouldn't come on the same dress/that I'd have to have it made for me. But what I didn't expect was Charlotte's easygoing, comfortable nature that helped calm me down and make me feel confident about my decisions. Nor did I expect her to just GET what I wanted after about half an hour of conversation. Her initial sketch of my dress was almost exactly what it ended up looking like. And it's the best thing I've ever worn in my life. If you're even a little bit annoyed, confused or uncertain with traditional bridal boutiques and dress options, go see Charlotte. She'll make you the dress of your dreams.

The entire experience, from design, fittings, evolution to the finished dress was entirely magical at every stage. Charlotte's work is the high-end finish of a designer dress, made bespoke to match all of the whims of your imagination. Cannot recommend her highly enough!

I absolutely loved the process of working with Charlotte to design my wedding dress. I’d tried on a few in traditional shops and every time felt like the dress was wearing me, which was not how I wanted to feel on my wedding day. After the first discussions over email with Charlotte I knew I was in safe hands and going to have a dress that suited me. I found out I was pregnant the day after our first meeting at the studio and Charlotte was incredible at adapting the design as we went along so that it fit perfectly on the day. On the day I felt confident and 100% me wearing my dress. The best feeling in the world.

5 stars aren’t enough. It’s so difficult to express how unique and magical the experience of working with Charlotte is.
A wedding dress has always been such an important thing to me and I’d considered the idea of bespoke on and off. When I found Charlotte I knew she needed to be the one to make it. I got completely lost in her real brides blog on her website falling in love with dress after dress. Each one seemingly so intricate and personal to the bride.
When we met in person in the gorgeous little studio I felt so excited that Charlotte completely understood my vision and helped craft it in ways I didn’t know how. Going to see Charlotte was my absolute favourite part of planning the wedding. It felt like magic between fittings where all of a sudden calico toiles became a sparkling wedding dress.
Charlotte even made me a last minute matching face mask in case we were instructed to wear them on the wedding day!
To me my dress is the most beautiful thing I’ve ever owned. I can’t thank Charlotte enough, 500 stars!
