Fantastic time at the races, there are two dates left at the race corse for this season 31st September and 14th October last one, so everyone come and enjoy the racing and entertainment at chester it's brilliant.

Always nice to walk around the racecourse as a way to the city centre. Admittedly not the most direct route but certainly one of the nicest.
It’s amazing to see views of the bridge we always drive over from a different perspective, though I wonder what is missing from the empty bays on the side of the bridge! (Answers on a postcard please)

First time visiting the city and it didn't disappoint!!! Was fortunate to visit over the Easter Holidays and the racecourse was the best place to top it all, free parking btw❤
There was a food and drink festival happening in the racecourse so no horses during my visit, child and disability-persons friendly, I am definitely coming back. I can't stop talking about this place to my friends, on YouTube, Instagram because why not!! A total recommendation.

Went in the Tattersalls enclosure.
Weather was a bit hit and miss, but hey,
welcome to the North-West.
Went home over £250 richer, so a good day was had by all.
Drinks are a bit pricey, so moderated my consumption (yeah, right).
Would deffo go again.

I have never been here before & it's not too far away from where I live, but what a great local discovery! We now plan to go here a couple of times in the year, and the atmosphere here is fun! What a great day out to the races. 🐎🐎🐎

My cousin invited me to join him for the first day of Boodles City Day event. I was given one of his shareholder badges and we got suited and booted.
Security is very tight to access to various parts of the track .
We dined at the Pavilion and enjoyed a fantastic lunch with good wine and service.
The weather throughout the day was abysmal, very heavy rains showers.
The Racecourse was established in 1539 and is the oldest and smallest in the world. Its correct name is The Roodee. Its a beautiful course outside the old city walls.
Another great thing about this Racecourse is location, it's right in Chester City and easy to access after the race events for bars and restaurants and shopping.
Not much luck backing winners . Nice to see Frankie Dettori get his win. Always a great day out but wish the weather was kinder.

We went to walk our dog around the edge of the race course. Such a relaxing walk which can be continued onto The Chester Walls. Highly recommend

A delightful racecourse in many ways, so close to the city centre, well laid out and you feel so close to the action too. Plus the novelty of going under the track to see the horses in the pre-race parade ring is really good. We thoroughly enjoyed our afternoons racing. If you're in the area and there's a race meeting on give it a go.

My friends and I had a brilliant afternoon at Chester Races.
All staff were ( whether on entry or bar etc ) nice and friendly. Bar prices are a tad high, but it's what you'd expect.
The whole place is clean & tidy at the start of the meeting.
Good visuals so you can follow your horse.
There are plenty of bookies waiting to take your money but not on that day, I come away a winner !
No hesitation in recommending.

Wonderful day out with excellent hospitality in the Winning Post, ran out of flavoured gin though so had to go into another area to get it.

Even though its not race day, I like how the racecourse is also open to the public in between races. The grounds are always well kept. Do walkers are welcome too (so long as you take a poop scoop!). You cannot access the central area, this is only for special functions but I have had a look inside and would be very suitable for a wedding venue! Have attached a photo of 2019 events :)

Nice little place. Didn't go to watch any horse racing though. We attended Chester Comic Con which was held there.

The event was well organised and plenty of room for all that was there. The weather certainly helped which meant all space, particularly that outside could be utilized.

I fear had the day been a washout then it could have been a little cramped, should everyone decided they didn't want to get wet!

This is the nicest race course in my opinion in England. Its clean. Its stylish. It serves good food. Plenty of places to get drinks from and put bets on. The view is good from various parts of the track. When the weather is good this place is a banger. If you like racing and a day out with family or friends this is the one to visit.
