Perfect location for your walks, Donnor was the perfect host and the room was literally spotlessly clean. Breakfast was perfectly cooked. Great value for money and would not hesitate to stay again.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Ivy Cottage B&B last week. Donna was a lovely host who couldn't do enough for you.

The B&B itself is in a perfect place with plenty of walks nearby (we chose a 5K circular route to follow post breakfast the next morning which was really lovely), it's also in walking distance to plenty of places to eat (we chose to go to The Buck due to dietary needs and they had fab gluten free options available). There is parking outside the B&B on the street which has a voluntary fee.

We were in the smaller of the three rooms in the B&B and it was plentiful, with a comfy double bed, tea & coffee facilities (plenty of specialty teas to choose from too which is always a bonus for me, and you could ask for fresh milk too), en-suite toilet and shower, and a TV. The room was immaculate, very clean and aesthetically pleasing too. It's the little details that really made it, such as a packet of tiktacs on the bedside, and cookies by the tea & coffee. [The picture attached is the morning we left, hence the ruffled bed sheets ha!]

The breakfast was fabulous too. You filled out a breakfast form the night before and chose your breakfast time (8am, 8:15am or 8:30am). My husband is gluten free so his options can often be limited, but Donna catered for him so well - one of the best Gluten Free breakfasts he's had in a hotel. For both of us, there was the option of a full English, yogurt, fruit, toast and jams, eggs on toast, (and then cereal too for me), plus, orange juice, apple juice and tea / coffee.

Thank you Donna for a wonderful stay - we hope to be back one day!

Fantastic location with great views. The room was light and airy and a lovely size for our weeks stay. Everywhere is spotless in the bb and the breakfast is yummy. Donna was lovely and could not be more helpful, it was a lovely relaxing stay. Will definitely return when next in yorkshire.

Absolutely fantastic b and b. The service from Donna was faultless. Couldn't do enough for us. Friendly, chatty and professional. The room was so comfortable and clean with some lovely touches such as 2 chocolates on the bedside table. Tea and coffee making facilities second to none although we didn't use them for the first time ever! It was warm and cosy and the shower was hot. If you happen to venture up to Reeth, this is the place to stay!

Situated deep in the Country side . Beautiful location . Tight road's in the area. Donna is an excellent host.
I would recommend staying here. I might stay for a long weekend next time because apparently there's loads of walking routes around here . Donna will make a packed lunch on request (£) .

The Ivy Cottage is absolutely stunning set in the beautiful square in Reeth. There is parking on the green at the front of the property for a small charge. An outstanding experience! Nothing was too much for these lovely hosts (even recommending pubs for dinner!) good quality rooms that are clean and fresh! With astonishing views. Close to local pubs and lots of walks! The full English breakfast was absolutely outstanding! Good quality and very filling. The hosts were beyond perfect, always greeting us with a smile and chatting away. We will definitely be booking again!

Stayed one night at Ivy Cottage on our way to Scotland. The room was so pretty and super comfortable! My boyfriend and I loved it! Superb hospitality and fantastic breakfast! The owner is a wonderful couple whom also gave us great local info for a quick hike in the beautiful dales. Will definitely return in the future.

We're very fond of Reeth. And we were extremely happy to be able to stay here in June of 2019 during our Herriot Way walk. Donna and Steve could not have been more welcoming. The location is perfect; our king room had a spectacular view of the village green, and all the pubs are within stumbling distance. The museum and post office/store are practically next door, and some of the best views of Swaledale are right outside the door. We would stay here again without hesitation.

Ivy Cottage is the perfect B& B. We stayed here for 3 nights and found it an ideal base for exploring the Yorkshire Dales. Steve and Donna are great hosts, the rooms are very nice and the big breakfasts are superb.

This is one of the nicest B & Bs we've ever stayed in. The room was beautiful, the bed comfortable, the water hot and the breakfast spot on. Add to that the location - perfect for what we needed. We'd certainly stay again.
