A lovely stay at The Old Manor House. Graham is so welcoming and we really enjoyed our stay and the delicious breakfast. Homemade jams and freshly baked bread were such a treat.

The rooms were lovely and very comfortable. Everything is so well thought out.

Thanks Graham and team!

Wow. We were in Room 8, which is stunning. The bed was so comfy, the pillows were brilliant. Breakfast was something to look forward to, cooked to order. Home made bread, jams and marmalade as well. Who could ask for more. Graham is the perfect host. Great location for Cheddar Gorge, Wells and Glastonbury. Will definitely stay there again when next in the area.

We booked on the day, when I arrived, there was ample parking.
I was initially concerned as the property is close to a road.

However, the double glazing was perfect and we were not bothered by the traffic outside at all. The room was nicely decorated and had everything we needed.

There was a coffee machine in the lounge that made complimentary chocolate. I enjoyed two of these😀

Breakfast was served in the morning and it was tasty. I am gluten free and even with no notice on a Sunday this wasn’t an issue. There were books and games available and also a lounge for guests.
The facilities and activities in the community were also good. We had an Indian meal in a local Chili’s restaurant and visited the caves at Chaddar.
Graham, our host made us really welcome, and we would definitely stay again when we’re in the area.
Thank you 😀

Graham was a friendly host. A lovely property with a homely feeling. A great breakfast with lots of choice, including a lovely cooked breakfast. Lots of which are locally produced. It is a great location to stay . Will 100% stay again .

An absolute WOW, we stayed in room number 1 it’s the room with the large bath. A great location close to Cheddar on the main A38. The bedroom was large very clean the bed was glorious with a beautiful white duvet and was so comfortable. The breakfast was excellent you could not wish for anything more, all cooked fresh and to order. The bread and jams are all home made and are a treat for the taste buds. The coffee was also excellent made fresh in a coffee jug just how I like it. The owner Graham was welcoming and friendly I could not fault this B&B it was beautiful he obviously puts a lot of thought and effort into this manor and it shows we will definitely be back. 10/10 fantastic.

Lovely b&b the room was clean and well presented. Breakfast in the morning was delicious. The owner was friendly and accommodating.
Only downside was it being right on an A road, but the double windows kept the noise out.
If you're visiting cheddar or weston supermare this is just out of the way of the busy towns but not too far to travel to.
We had a lovely night stay in a very comfy bed

Perfect! Great location, impeccably clean, exceptionally good breakfast with homemade bread & jams & locally sourced produce for the cooked breakfast. Fresh coffee maker available at all times in the “common area”, fresh milk in handy small bottles to take to your room. Graham is a super host. Thank you

We had an amazing experience staying here, everything is so clean and the hole establishment is incredibly cozy. Breakfast is great, amazing local products with a great selection of home made jam, the home made bread is also amazing! Thanks to Graham for being a great host.

The room was very comfortable, spotlessly clean and Graham had thought of everything! The breakfast was fantastic and you can tell how much pride Graham takes in this aspect of your stay as well as every other part of it.
Communications were great, Graham had provided plenty of useful information prior to our arrival including directions and of the locality, pubs, taxis etc. There were many little touches that made the stay more enjoyable however the one that stands out to me is fresh milk in cute little bottles in the fridge, as someone who enjoys a good cup of tea first thing in the morning, the fresh milk was particularly welcome.

Really lovely place and great spot for our weekend to explore Cheddar Gorge. Graeme was very helpful with advice on how best to walk there and overall he was a great host. Our room was great and the guest lounge comfortable and welcoming. Breakfast was good. Continental help yourself with Graeme's home made bread and jams and a full breakfast. Very good! Would highly recommend the Old Manor House.

Just arrived me home from after a three night break and can't praise Graham enough for his hospitality, food, cleanliness etc. Stayed here after reading the previous first class reviews and the comments were all spot on. Lovely area and the food at the New Inn, within walking distance, is great but you need to book.

We arrived to this wonderful hotel yesterday for a one night stay after a day visit to Cheddar Gorge. We had booked the family room which is for 4 people. Graham the owner met us on arrival and was really welcoming to us all.
The hotel and rooms are clean, spacious and beautifully decorated.
Our room (the Blue Room) was really nice and the beds were mega comfy, we had a great nights sleep.
Graham had provided an evening meal recommendation at the local pub The New Inn (literally over the road), brilliant recommendation, the food was lovely and it has a lovely beer garden which the kids enjoyed.
Breakfast was lovely, freshly cooked to order and homemade bread and jams! My little boy insisted we bought some of the homemade Strawberry & Blueberry jam it was so delicious!!
We were just sorry we hadn't booked to stay longer.
I would highly recommend!

This was exactly what we were looking for, an antidote to Premier Inn, where you have a personal visit in great surroundings. Graham was the perfect host. Good communications beforehand. Nice welcome and set up, including recommendations for booking dinner at the New Inn across the road (again, just what we were looking for, a friendly local pub). Room was clean and spacious and nicely decorated with good quality cotton sheets. We made use of a well equipped sitting room in the evening after the pub, and the breakfast was wonderful including some home made pink grapefruit marmalade. Excellent.

Lovely B&B we stayed here as a stop over on our way down to Cornwall. We spent the day in cheddar then stayed here the night. Graham was very welcoming. Room was clean and comfy, breakfast was great. We would definitely recommend this place to friends and family and very rare for me and my boyfriend but we would actually return here!

What a wonderful place! Graham, the owner is a real gentleman, and his standards are obviously extremely high as far as the decor, cleanliness and quality of service go. We stayed in the green room for two nights, with the biggest bed I have ever seen, and it was really comfortable, the bathroom too was enormous with full sized bath and separate shower cubicle, plus his and hers wash basins. The breakfast was really excellent, with homemade bread and jam, as well as a nicely cooked full English offering, plus other choices if this didn't suit. The price we paid was really good too, All in all an excellent place to stay thoroughly recommended, and would definitely stay again if in the area

We stayed in the copper room and being a woman with mobility issues it was perfect for my husband and myself. There was a couple of shallow steps but a hand rail to help me. The room was spacious and very clean. Graham the owner was very welcoming and helpful and the English breakfast was delicious just a shame we only were staying one night. We would definitely stay here again when next in the area.

We had a lovely weekend away here. The room was very clean and comfortable. We expected it to be a little noisy being so close to the main road but we didn't hear a thing!

We went to Cheddar which is close by and easy to get to by car from here. We also tried some of the walks that were recommended by the host in a leaflet which are well worth doing.

We would definitely recommend this B&B and would happily stay again.
