Marl Pits Leisure Centre

I go here regularly almost a daily basis. It does need a refurbishment in the pool especially but the staff are just fantastic. My Grandson also gets his swimming lessons here he's doing fab thanks to sue. I have also completed 2 sponsored swims her one for young lives v cancer and more recent Casual Minds matter Highly recommend and thank you to the lovely staff

Had my daughter's 7th birthday party at marl pits, and I would like to say what a fantastic time everybody had, little kids and the big kids, and the staff was amazing they couldn't do enough for us.
Definitely have another party here.

Completing a 10 week program Couch to 5K on their running track. Just starting week 3 and absolutely loving it! Only costs £10.00 for the whole program too so excellent value for money.

Great place for swimming with kids especially the Saturday and Sunday fun sessions always clean and plenty of spaces to get changed my daughter loves it here 👍

Brilliant!
We did the 24 hour Relay for Life in aid of Cancer Research at Marl Pits. The whole event was meticulously planned & the staff worked really well and hard to make it a safe, happy & worthwhile occasion. Definitely going again next year on 15th June 2019.

My son trains here for football great lesuire centre friendly staff clean and tidy lots of carparking and facilities too, can get a brew and fill your water bottle swimming is good and there's 4 3g pitches at the back

Amazing local authority leisure center which rivals many private gyms with pools. The inflatable obstacle course in the pool was a firm favourite with our little one.

Great leisure centre and gym. Staff are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Range of gym equipment isn't huge but it's never too busy.

Best hand dryers in the biz. Had me bone dry in 15 secs - fast, and more furious than Vin Diesel at his most efficient.

For a small leisure centre, the pool is a good size and the family swim is never overcrowded but always full of families having a great old time. A great local pool and fitness centre.

1st time back to a gym in some years. Had the initial appointment with Chris. A good fellow. Patiently showed me the equipment and helped me construct a schedule to start off with. I found all the staff friendly and helpful. The changing facilities were quite adequate. It's so good to see many young kids using the gym. All I hear about is video games. Yet here they are active members of the gym. Good for them. Good for me.
