A great little shop with everything you need for your reptile/amphibian/aquatic needs. The staff are super welcoming and very helpful, offering a number of examples of what I needed without pushing expensive options. Cannot recommend this shop enough.

I got my Leopard Gecko here, she’s super happy and healthy. I come back to the store often to buy all her needs and all that, staff are super kind and helpful. 🙂

Incredible customer service couldn't do enough to help me get started with my sons first reptile. Knowledge is second to none and the young man who works upstairs (didn't catch his name) is outstanding. Highly recommended 👌 extensive range of pet supplies

This is a great shop. Brett and his staff have good knowledge and friendly service. No pushy sales. Sometimes have popped in when not needing anything just for the sakey of a bit of a nosey.

Excellent experience all round. The staff were friendly, helpful & knowledgeable. My daughter was very happy to be able to hold her new hamster 🐹 (pre sale) and I was impressed by the care exhibited to ensure said hamster had a safe journey home as well as checking he would have a suitable home with us before letting him leave their care. Would highly recommend as opposed to the larger chain pet stores. Xx

We took our pet kakariki here today because he had some hair wrapped around his foot that was cutting into him, they removed it straight away and didn't even charge us, very friendly and helpful can't thank them enough

This is privately run pet shop in Chorley town centre. It is on the main street. It is next to vet surgery. It has lot of cute animals for sale with relevant supply of food and toys for them. Staff are very friendly and helpful if you are not sure what would be right thing to buy for your pet. I love this shop.

Great customer service. Some vets are easier to understand than others however always explain when asked. Reception staff lovely. It's evident they are all really caring about animals.

In the shop the staff are great and polite very helpful and there are some amazing animals in there. Sometimes schools come to look at them. It's great if you get to see them all at feeding time.
Good selection of animal food and toys too

We went in to have a look at a tortoise for my daughter and was very happy with the service I received. We spoke to Brett himself and asked for some information on the starter kit. He was more than happy to go and print off the information I needed instead of me just writing it down. I then asked if my daughter could hold one and he agreed and said we were more then welcome to come back and visit as she was saving up her own money. He also congratulated her on being responsible enough to do so, that it showed the commitment required to own such a pet. This made my daughter very happy. We were interrupted a few times by other customers, but Brett was very professional and calmly directed them to other staff members or just quickly answered their questions. In all I was very happy with the visit. I actually hold animal husbandry qualifications so know what signs to look for neglect etc but saw none of that at Brett's pets. The shop is very nice and clean and the animals look very healthy from the reptiles to the fish. I am very happy to be starting a potential 80 year commitment with the pet shop!

We just bought a rabbit from Bretts pets. Very impressed that we had to provide photo evidence that we had a suitable hutch for our new rabbit. Shows they genuinely care about the future wellbeing of the pets they sell. All staff were lovely and helpful. Would 100% recommend. Thanks

Our reptiles go on holiday here while we're away on holiday! The staff have a real passion for animals and love making a fuss of our adorable ladies (and one lad!)! All animals very well looked after. The staff really know their stuff! Shop is affordable and we'll laid out.

I took my son here to buy a bearded dragon, the staff were so friendly and helpful in explaining to him how to care for it and everything involved with owning one. They even offered to delivery the habitat to my house and install it for no extra charge. Highly recommended.

We love Brett's Pets, my whole family. The kids enjoy going and seeing the animals and the service and knowledge from Brett and the staff is exemplary. We've spent a fair amount of time in the shop and bought many pets and products. We've never had an issue and nothing was ever a problem, even when it came to Christmas delivery where Brett personally delivered a full set up with Geckos for our son. Best petshop for miles around

Really nice and friendly and clean made my puppy relaxed and now loves going strange as that maybe but she loves going as she gets hugs strokes and treats. Couldn't fault the place for one thing. I haven't been here before i had my puppy but will be definitely going for all my pets requirements and needs
