The Old Stable Vintage Tea Rooms

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing afternoon tea at Old Stable Vintage Tea Room, and it exceeded all expectations. Priced at £22 per person, the value is exceptional. It served as a delightful venue for a baby shower, offering an extensive array of sandwiches and cakes. The free tea refills were a nice touch, and the availability of complimentary parking on Sundays made the visit even more enjoyable. Nestled down a charming side street, the quaint location adds to the overall appeal. The decor is lovely, and the staff, adorned in old-fashioned aprons and head scarfs, truly contribute to the vintage atmosphere. I highly recommend Old Stable Vintage Tea Room for a delightful and memorable experience.

Excellent lunch. Fantastic homemade Scotch broth soup packed with vegetables, pearl barley and lamb. Such an interesting space. So many nice things to look at. You could be miles away in the countryside but here you are right in the heart of Chorley!

Came here for the first time today to celebrate my Sister in laws 30th birthday. We all enjoyed our afternoon teas and the service and staff were lovely, the tea rooms are so pretty and beautiful 😍 will defo return. Thank you so much xx

Lovely place and the cakes are exceptionally good. Worth going just for these! The outside temperatures were low when we attended so we were pleased to have wrapped up well. Tall room so heating must understandable be a bit difficult. Don't let that stop you enjoying this experience.

Having read previous reviews I visited with my cousin.
We didn't have the full afternoon tea, so settled for the standard cream tea option. We were not disappointed !
The atmosphere was wonderful as was the service!
It is a hidden gem, but one worth seeking out. The chocolate strawberries were amazing 😋

We were a party of ten and the staff were wonderful in terms of service and care of us. The food was lovely especially the soup. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Popped in on a whim with Nanna and Sister and was so pleasantly surprised at how lovely and delightful our experience was. The decoration and atmosphere outdone only by the wonderful, warm, smiling team. Thank you for bringing a little sunshine into our otherwise dreary, wet Thursday afternoon. X

What a lovely place ,as soon as you walk in the Old vitage tea rooms you have a sensation of stepping back in time,lovely colour coordination and nice artefacts to admire,loved the music from the 1940s. BRITAIN NEEDS YOU.

What a beautiful birthday surprise to have full Afternoon Tea with a choice of sandwiches, cake , and drinks
Which are made fresh when ordering, little extra treats on the side also.
I will be returning to have Afternoon tea again and again , staff are friendly and welcoming, and is a must visit if you enjoy Afternoon Tea’s.
Booking in advance is advise and also has tables upstairs if your lucky to get one.

I came with my mum, niece and great nephew today for festive afternoon tea and what an absolute delight it was. The food, ambiance and service was 10/10. Would highly recommend. Will certainly return

We had afternoon tea, there were many other alternatives. Not small portions, in fact there was too much for us but the staff packed up our leftovers for us.

Delightful discovery. Tucked away in Chorley town centre (walk down West St between Age Concern and Pearsons Pub, turn right down the lane, just before steps at end of cul-de-sac)
The whole experience was lovely - atmosphere, decor, food and service.

Lovely little gem of a coffee shop, hidden away in a side street in Chorley. Nearly didn't find, but saw some bunting and investigated. Tastefully decorated. Hosts friendly and very pleasant surroundings
