Hartwood Hall - Pub & Grill

I've always wanted to go in here. It's on the way to southport, so for our anniversary, we went in and we were glad we did. The meals were to die for, the staff very attentive & helpful. We couldn't fault any of the food or drink. The decor was very well done. We'd definitely go there again AAA+

Fantastic, super friendly staff toilets super clean, no nasty smells in the gents or the ladies.
Uber tasty steak n cheese and my wife fish n chips.. So moist

First time visitors.
Food we had was lovely and filling. The Sunday roast went down with one adult very well and the child portion is well worth the money- our little one really loved it. The Yorkshire puds were large, light and fluffy.
No room for sweet and glad we didn't have a starter!
Staff were friendly and gave great advice.
Establishment areas we used were clean and tidy, tables were cleared, cleaned and reset up as soon as patrons left.
Have recommended to friends and family to eat here. We look forward to our next visit.

Stayed here for 1 night for work, by just luck we seen it and stopped ,really pleased we did, excellent food and choice, very friendly staff, and rooms I couldn't fault, clean and had everything you need, we will be staying here again for sure, highly recommended, even just for food

We've eaten here a couple of times now. Food is always fresh and delicious. Drinks are great, too. Service has always been excellent with very friendly and attentive staff. The restaurant itself is very clean, open, and spacious. We look forward to returning again.

Haven't been for years, very nice decor, great atmosphere, food excellent value and piping hot.
We had mainly toasted ciabatta and fries, which were all delicious.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
Deserts were good too.
There were plenty of people eating, which is always a good sign

Festive menu - great value for money.
Service was a bit hap hazard tonight, due to 2 people not turning in, but staff friendly, polite and working very hard, but overall experience very pleasant.
Food very good. Steak cooked to perfection. Will certainly be going back soon.

Staff are friendly and they attend to you really quick.
Sometimes it better to book a table before you arrive. Their website has got clear instructions on how to book.
Value for money I would say. Drinks are a bit expensive but food is worth if.

Beautiful pub, great staff, lovely huge tables and chairs, was greeted on arrival and left alone to browse through the menus, we were in a party of 15 and all ordered together and everything was brought out pretty much together and the food was amazing! It looked so good, tasted so nice, and presented looking lovely, too. The waiting on staff were lovely and nothing fazed them at all and they came back 10 mins into eating to make sure we were all happy. Would highly recommend this pub, especially with it being situated 5 mins off the motorway with lots of room for parking and wheel chair friendly too. We had 2 children and a toddler with us and they were looked after just as well as we were. We'll worth a visit.

We called into this greeneking pub before going to the Chorley game. At 5pm it was ticking over. The team were friendly and welcoming. The food was good and enjoyable. Definitely worth a return visit when we are in the area again.

Lovely place. Nice interior, staff are great, prices are reasonable and for the food quality so so worth it. They even have child's roast dinners for £4.99 with a kids desert for an extra £1. Fish was absolutely incredible, I'd go back again just for that. Definitely recommended.

Great accommodation, clean tidy. Quiet room on the 1st floor. Friendly staff and very knowledgeable regarding the area. I had a 2 night stay. Fresh clean bedding and towels, room service topped up tea, coffee and milk daily, tidy the room, excellent standard. Had a great meal of chicken skewers with a pint. Very nice.

Me and my kids had a little bit of food. It was well presented and tasty. The drinks were served quickly, and there was a very friendly bar lady serving. The atmosphere is always warm and buzzing.

First time visiting here today and we were not disappointed! Food was cooked to perfection, service swift and staff friendly and efficient. A comfy, spotlessly clean environment with a great vibe! Easy parking with a wheelchair friendly entrance. Christmas decor looked amazing too! This place is a testament to a great team! Don't hesitate to visit here. There is a good range of food and drink on the menu at very reasonable prices! We will be back for sure! Open 8.00 a.m to 23.00 weekends and 7.00 a.m. to 23.00 weekdays.

Just saying, stake and eggs for breakfast. Been twice in the same week. Lovely pub brilliant drinks. Excellent and friendly service even when busy. Curry's are brilliant.

We look forward to our walk in breakfasts at the weekend. But unfortunately this week we're turned away as we weren't hotel guests . So it looks like we will have stick to evening meals from now on and find another breakfast venue .
