Ben & Ollie's Breakfast Bar

Ben & Ollie’s is a great little place that serves from an expansive well accomplished menu.

On this occasion we came for breakfast, and we chose pancakes with bananas and pancakes with bacon (American).

Pancakes with bananas is a three stack of pancakes with chopped banana, strawberries, raspberry and blueberries.

The American exchanges the fruit for three rashers of bacon.

Maple syrup is provided and it’s all presented gorgeously on exotic plates.

The decor of this place is exemplary, it has an eclectic selection of memorabilia throughout the decades on the walls ranging from exotic clocks to retro tv’s through to 80s Spanish figurines of animals to biplanes and fire engines stuck on the wall. Amazing.

The lighting is great too, teacups hanging from the ceiling double as shades, as well as what look like Persian lamps hanging Superb look and feel.

The staff are great, very friendly, very smiley and always offering positive thoughts with every word. Such a great bunch of people. Will definitely coming back here for mains, as they serve a large hot selection of food up until 4:15pm, even though they close at 4:30, I was told they’d stay open for us to enjoy a meal. They’re that accommodating.

That’s a sign of a good place to me.

Getting a table at weekend breakfast is not easy as the place is packed but wait is usually very short.

I've been craving a hearty fry-up for days, and after hearing great things about Ben & Ollie's, my Son and I decided to give it a try on a sunny weekend morning. We were greeted by a bustling atmosphere, but luckily, they had a cozy outdoor seating area where we could enjoy our breakfast and get some sunny vitamin-D.

The service was top-notch - our coffees and breakfasts arrived promptly, and the friendly staff made sure we had everything we needed. The presentation of the dishes was impressive, and the flavors were spot on. The eggs were cooked to perfection, and the bacon was crispy and delicious.

What's even more impressive is that Ben & Ollie's manages to strike a great balance between price and quality. While there are certainly cheaper options in the area, the quality of the food and the atmosphere made it well worth the extra cost. We'll definitely be back for more! 😋👍

I just love this place! The food is always delicious and the service is very genuine and friendly. Portion sizes are quite large, so go hungry or be prepared for some left overs, but well priced. Definitely recommend to go any time of day

It is not fully normal to be that happy about 'just' going for a breakfast like me. Me and my husband are lucky enough to live nearby. Where to start? Localisation is great - on the Borehamwood high street, just in the town center. There are tables situated outdoor and indoor for your preference. Staff is always very welcoming, friendly and quick. Nice touch are loads of dips on every table from ketchup to mustard and vinegar etc. Amazing menu - all the breakfast options you would dreamt of. The best tea I have ever had in my life - the one called by a company name. Portions are huge. Every time is hard to finish it all. Everything we have had was very tasty. Decor is really warm, eclectic and original - you feel like home. I love the music they listen to inside the kitchen. I would love to hear it better ;)

Wonderful Saturday Brunch. We had to wait a few seconds before being seated. We had to wear a mask to enter the restaurant. We ordered pancakes with Turkish sausage. We also had the most delicious light and fluffy omlettes. They came with a colourful salad with pomegranates. Really fresh orange juice. The place was busy of course. There is a paid parking lot around the corner which was reasonable. I will return again and again. The service, atmosphere and food were excellent. I can't wait to go back. 😁

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Extra people joined us for brunch once we had sat down. The staff moved us to a table for 4 as soon as they could despite it being extremely busy. The food was lovely and the service was good. However, it was very noisy so hard to talk. But the cafe is worth going to.

We ate fantastic Turkish Breakfast, BBQ chicken, Greek salad, a cake and more here. Nice staff, beautiful portions, and always busy. One of my new favourites. Well done!

Superb fresh food. A fabulous varied menu. My regular place for a freshly cooked chicken schnitzel and rice and salad.

I had a fantastic breakfast here with family on the Easter bank holiday Monday. The café was fairly busy but service was prompt and the staff were friendly. The food was great - I had the "Hangover" breakfast - and there was just so much of it. I rarely visit Borehamwood but if I return I will be back for another breakfast.

Delicious food and friendly attentive staff. Portion sizes were good and the quality of the ingredients used were worth the price paid. More expensive than other cafes but definitely worth it for a treat!

Absolutely fantastic! We stopped by as we were staying nearby and we were very happy! The food was light, tasted lovely and served efficiently. The staff were friendly and the coffee was great! Our young daughter even commented on how nice the scrambled were! Would recommend for couples and families. Thank you for a great start to our day!

Great selection of breakfasts for the whole family. The kids loved the pancakes. Very quick service and friendly staff. Nice outdoor dining spaces. Felt like we were on holiday.

Was full when we arrived at about 11am but it only took a couple of minutes to get seats. Service was very good and food arrived very quickly after ordering. Enjoyed my breakfast, it tasted really good 😊
