Excellent quality of food and service. Very knowledgeable staff and outstandingly courteous! A favourite place to go for coffee and snacks!

Despite all the big names in Berko, Epicure has the best coffee in town,friendly, cosy little cafe with aromatic special blended beans....

For me the best thing here is the way they serve & know their tea. The pot is FULL & HOT (quite unusual in my rather extensive experience), they use leaf tea but just the right amount, & best of all it comes with a 5 minute egg timer to make you wait for it to brew! If I ever get a takeaway elsewhere I now ask for the milk on the side so it can brew!!! So much better!!

Walked into this lovely coffee house on New Year’s Eve. It was a bit busy given that they were closing early but the staff were super friendly, it was PROPER QUALITY coffee and one of the best brownies we’ve tasted this year! Will definitely be back in 2019!

Going to Epicure has become our daily ritual. The coffee is the absolute best as is the porridge, granola bowl, almond croissant and vegan cookies.

Lovely coffee shop with salads and sandwiches, the owner is so nice and they treat you like family. Dogs welcome and free newspaper :)

Due to a misunderstanding unrelated to this place, I missed breakfast today. I wandered in and there were so many things on the menu and I was in a bit of analysis paralysis, brain fog hungry. I said something like "Can you recommend something gluten free and vegan?" A girl behind the cashier, I don't remember exactly what she said, but it felt like "I got you." She whipped me up some kind of majestic falafel vegan thing on a gluten free sourdough bread and completely saved my brain! Thank you! Highly recommend!

We live in Berkhamsted and are regulars at Epicure. The owners are so lovely and always stop to chat if they're not too busy. Dogs are welcome and even during the long lockdown all the staff have kept smiling. It's a lovely little haven and we can't wait to get back in properly and sit down. The coffee is the best we've had and there are great healthy food options.

The best coffee in town! Fantastic coffee shop with authentic surroundings, perfect for a catch up or just watch the world go by. Food is really good too, I highly recommend the Scrambled Eggs on Toast!

A great place with excellent food. Often busy which reflects it's popularity. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that the pastrami, pickle, cheese, tomato and honey mustard toasted sandwich is one of, if not the best sandwiches I have ever had. Also has great veggie options. Does take away. Also does good coffee so you don't need to sit down to enjoy this place.

Great selection of sweet cakes, but also an extensive lunch menu with plenty of options for everyone!

Went here to meet a friend for breakfast ~ on their recommendation ~ and found a buzzy atmosphere, with friendly staff and decent food. The coffee I had (Latte) was very nice, and was presented with a pattern on top of it. It's not the cheapest place in town but certainly worth a visit, or two. I'll be going back soon.

Usual great service and love the al fresco tables! My new office this morning :-)

We just went to pick up a coffee and a sourdough toastie. (Gluten free for my girlfriend) and the matcha choc energy ball (VG GF )
Such a lovely treat and top quality food / quick service. We will be back.

Little tip: there could be a better full menu printed in the window, especially as older people might be nervous to come inside right now.
