Little Heath Tea Room

I contacted this lovely quaint cottage tea room to book lunch for my partners birthday and was surprised to find our table with a 'Happy birthday' message.
We chose lunch and then a small selection of cakes to finish off.
The whole experience was relaxing and enjoyable with friendly service throughout.
Well recommended and will come back.

Little Heath Tea Room is a charming tea room located in Potten End, near Berkhamsted. The tea room is set in the grounds of Little Heath Farm Nursery, and it has a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The interior of the tea room is decorated beautifully in a traditional style, with china teacups and saucers, and lace doilies on the tables. There is a small selection of cakes and pastries on display, and the smell of fresh baked goods wafts through the air. It is BEAUTIFUL

The service at Little Heath Tea Room is excellent. The staff are friendly and attentive, and they are happy to make recommendations. I ordered the afternoon tea, which included a selection of sandwiches, scones, and pastries. The sandwiches were all delicious, and the scones were perfectly cooked. I especially enjoyed the carrot cake.

I would highly recommend Little Heath Tea Room to anyone looking for a charming and relaxing place to enjoy a cup of tea and a bite to eat. The tea room is perfect for a special occasion, or for a casual afternoon out.

Stopped off for a late morning snack with the cycle group. Wonderful staff made us feel so very welcome. Such a lovely place to stop off and enjoy the relaxing surroundings

Great little place this. Very quaint and English. Lots of beautiful flowers in the nursery. Very pretty and peaceful to sit in the garden and and some delicious cake and whatever drink you fancy. Wide selection and very yummy cakes. Worth a visit if you’re nearby. Lots of beautiful places to walk as well.

Lovely place,lovely food, very friendly staff,nothing was too much trouble for them. we had a lovely afternoon tea.

Visited this cute place last Saturday afternoon. Although we've been here before for tea & cake, this was our first time sitting in the lovely outdoor area, located in the nursery. It's really beautiful and peaceful (apart from the racket that our dog made when he saw other dogs 🤦🏾)! Lots of seating (and you can book which is always a plus) and tables in the shade, and the added bonus is that it's dog friendly. We enjoyed some sandwiches, followed by the most delicious scones and tea. I loved that they had gluten free options and the gluten free scones in particular were fantastic! It's a great place to enjoy a light lunch or afternoon tea in a relaxed setting and the staff are very friendly. It was quite busy when we went on Saturday (given the weekend and the glorious weather) so make sure you allow plenty of time as it was a little slow to get our order taken, though the food came quickly once we had ordered. This is such a lovely spot, only a few minutes drive from central Berkhamsted. Highly recommend and will be back again!

Booked an afternoon tea voucher for my sister. All the staff were lovely to communicate with, really easily arranged. My sister has just used the voucher and had a really enjoyable time. Yummy food, shabby chic and off the beaten track. Really positive experience all around, thank you :)

Beautiful , soothing and peaceful romantic place to destress and refresh with your loved ones. Nicely arranged tables , warm welcoming staff and a tasty menu with good enough vegetarian options.

Just visited this little treasure of a place. The food is absolutely delicious and well worth the money. Lovely service too. If you want something different then this is a place to visit. We booked a table in advance just to make sure we got a table. Antique and plant shop right next to the cottage.

This is one of the loveliest tea rooms my family and I have ever visited. Helena, Sally, Charlotte, and all the staff, are incredibly kind, hard-working, and welcoming. The food is all home-made and delicious to eat, with pots of tea to accompany your choice of sandwiches, cake, etc.

The surrounding wild nursery is fullnof beautiful plants, flowers and herbs, available to purchase all year round.

A perfect place to go for peace and quiet, with or without anyone.

We celebrated a trio of birthdays with full afternoon tea, we had several dietary requirements (vegan, GF and Vegan/GF) and Helena and her team were so accommodating, catering for everyone’s needs and we had a brilliant time! The setting is beautiful and we couldn’t recommend it enough!

This is a very warm and cozy cottage, all the foods were amazing, if you are a cake fan, they offer you a wide range of choices, also you can not miss the home made scones. The owner treated me very well with recommendations, many thanks! If possible, I’ll back again definitely! 👍

Lovely little tearoom in a small and atmospheric farm nursery and situated in a nice wooded area with lots of walks. Very friendly and efficient staff. Nice to sit outside under pergolas, enjoying butterflies and birdsong, and lots of birds at the feeders. The inside looks very nice too. A perfect place to stop for tea and tasty cakes!

This is a little gem of a place, beautiful location, excellent service and lovely food. The cakes are fab and the kids lunch is brilliant put a huge smile on my little ones face having a special plate and shaped sandwiches.
Highly recommended for lunch, afternoon tea or even just a cuppa and catch up with friends as well as recommended for a special treat for little ones for a "special" lunch.

Hidden treasure! Such a nice place for an afternoon cream tea, in amongst the birds and gardens. Scones were great, can highly recommend the ginger cordial (spicy!) And the salted caramel chocolate brownie also good. Will be back here for sure!

Absolutely fantastic - my favourite afternoon tea ever!!! As well as sweet treats, Little Heath Tea Rooms offer a lovely savoury selection including soup, sausage rolls, quiches and cheese scones - all homemade. The sweet scones are delicious, the cakes scrumptious, the tea and sandwiches excellent. And to top it all the service from Sally and Bethany was so friendly - we felt comfortable and cared for and we cannot wait to visit again xxxxx
