We visited Gaylord Antiques to look for a small chest of drawers which we did find and subsequently purchase. Ian and Lynda could not have been any more pleasant. They were so very knowledgeable and extremely helpful and it was a pleasure to purchase from them. The customer service was 100% but the only 'downside' is that, unfortunately, our house isn't large enough to accommodate any more items of their fabulous furniture. If you are looking for authentic antiques then I would highly recommend a visit to the showroom. I had also mentioned to Ian that I had a problem with an antique chest of drawers which I already own and he could not have been more helpful. He talked me through exactly what I needed to do and even wrote a list for me which detailed how to undertake the small repair job. This goes over and above any customer service which you would ever receive in any other store. Thank you both so very much and we will certainly purchase from you again and also recommend you to anyone we know who may be looking to purchase quality antiques. We couldn't be more happy.

Popped in for a browse and ended up having a lovely chat with the owner. Really interesting and helpful chap, very keen to pass on information and tips on what to look for when looking for quality furniture. Will definitely be going back if i ever need advice or when next looking for furniture. Cant recommend enough!

A very good experience this month with a couple of visits to Gaylords. I now have a lovely well-priced oak chair that suits me perfectly. My husband and I received courteous and knowledgeable service from Ian and we will be back.

I came across Gaylords Antiques by chance when searching online for a hall table for my new home. The service and goods received from Lynda and her team were top notch. I not only purchased a table but also a chair and I hope to visit online again in the future. A very friendly, helpful and well run business, a great experience all round. I would highly recommend.

I have known about Gaylord's for many years but this was the first time I have been in to purchase something. Ian and Lynda were incredibly helpful and very knowledgeable not just about the furniture but about some other items we wanted to refurbish and about how to keep our new table in the best condition. Nothing was too much trouble, they even delivered the table for me. I am absolutely delighted with my new piece of furniture and will certainly be going back there.Highly recommended and I shall be telling all my friends.

Gaylords was recommended to me by a friend who has used it several times so l ordered a large table online. I phoned the shop to discuss the item before the purchase and found the staff very helpful and informative. They had a lovely manner with me and sent me more pictures to my email. I was delighted that they could send me the table by courier for a very reasonable price. When l actually saw the table it was much nicer than l thought, it had been finished to a high standard and was just stunning. I was totally impressed with every aspect of the service l got and will certainly be using them again.

An excellent company. Having searched locally for a carver chair without success, Gaylords had a choice! Not only that, but the proprietor was very friendly, knowledgeable, professional and helpful. I bought a beautiful burr walnut pot cabinet after only seeing it online and following up with a phone call to get reassurance that it really was as good as it looked. I spoke to Ian who was as enthusiastic as I was about the craftsmanship and described it as "museum quality". When it arrived, I could see that he was telling the truth. I'm absolutely delighted with my purchase and the service I received.

A lovely range of quality antique furniture - well worth a visit. Ian provided superb customer service and we're very happy with the dresser we purchased. Will be keeping an eye out on the website for further items.

My husband visited the shop today 18th Feb 2023 for some advice on an antique chest of drawers he is restoring. The shop owner was extremely helpful in this matter, giving him contact details of someone who could help him with his project.

Recently purchased a dining table and six chairs from Lynda, who was so incredibly nice & helpful. Her husband Ian delivered it and set it all up in my house, both my wife and I extremely pleased with both of them & will definitely go back! Thank you Ian & Lynda!

Upon reading the two reviews I was hesitant to visit gaylords. But once inside I was welcomed by a very lovley lady named Lynda who was very helpful and knowledgeable. As I was left to browse in walked Mr Gaylord himself and I can honestly say you could not wish to meet a more polite respectful and patient man. No question was left unanswered. I left an hour later with some if the most beautiful furniture I have ever purchased. I can not thank them enough til next time....

I have recently moved into a new property which is slightly more modern but love antiques, I called into gay lords antiques and they could were so helpful they advised me what I could do and which pieces would be more adaptable . Nothing was too much trouble they spent time and patience with me and also gave advice about what fabric I should get for my chairs . I did purchase from there and will go back in the future thank you very much for your excellent service and advice .

Always worth a look if you like antique furniture. There's something different every time you go in. The owners are very knowledgeable and always take the time to explain about the item. Clearly a lot of pride in their work.
