Bradbeers Furniture Store Hedge End

Had a wonderful customer service experience tonight at Bradbeers in Hedge End! I only entered to check if they had some beds I might like, bear in mind I am Italian and used to a different style! So a lovely person approached me (find out later his name is Ian) and asked if I needed any help, I replied yes actually, I am looking for abed that has legs high enough to allow me to hoover underneath! He was so understanding of my request, usually I get we don’t do them! But he explained that this is a request and a style coming from Europe more and more and it will probably take 5 years for the style here to change! He also asked if I had seen anything abroad I liked and perhaps they could try and get, in fact I showed him a bed I saw in italy which model is not sold here in the UK! Then we entered a wonderful conversation about Italian leather and he kindly wanted to show me his fav sofas that came from italy and were beautifully designed and in leather! Then he spent some time on the internet for me advising me on names of uk beds manufacturer’s rather than retailers as I was so confused as if you try to buy a bed you can easily find the same bed picture on 5-6 websites with sometimes 300 pound difference and you think ‘what’s the catch’! Also having understood my need he tried to advise me on what to search and I was like oh yeah of course! I felt he was there really to help me rather than pushing a hard sale on me! Thanks to him I have an Amazing view of Bradbeers and hence leaving a review! Oh I forgot, I was also looking for flooring so he took me to see his colleague on the ‘floor department’ which also was very knowledgeable and I learnt a few things from! Overall a great 5 stars experience!

Purchased a hallway carpet 4 weeks ago which was fitted this morning. Sales lady helpful and lovely to deal with. Fitting staff (though I appreciate maybe not directly employed by Bradbeers) we’re on time, polite and very helpful. We asked them to fit the hallway off-cut into an under stairs cupboard - this had not previously been requested but they agreed and completed it for nil extra charge (would have been happy with £40/50).
Very pleased - will def use again.

We visited the store Twice and both times received excellent service when choosing a bed, mattress and headboard.
We held off for the Black Friday deal which worked in our favour for our purchase.

We visited Bradbeers furniture store at Hedge End for the first time last week. It has a vast amount of different styles and makes and we looked around for a while before being approached by Lena. She was extremely helpful and listened carefully to our needs before making some useful suggestions. She then allowed us to browse a bit longer and was unobtrusive but attentive when needed. Lena was efficient in the ordering process and we look forward to getting our new sofas.

While deciding which mattress to choose, we asked for some advise from a sales lady called Denise.
She was very knowledgeable regarding the different types of mattresses available and offered us good honest pros & cons advice. At no time did we feel pressured to purchase, we were left alone to make our minds up but Denise was always available for the many questions we fired at her !!!!!! Thank you for your help Denise.

This wasn't our first visit to the store, in search of a new sofa. Sue D had been friendly, and taken the time to show us a similar range to the one we were looking at, highlighting the differences between them. This time, we placed an order, and again Sue was very helpful, hopefully the rest of the purchase will go as smoothly as this.

Amazing service. Myra was a great help, very kind and knowledgeable. We are very happy with the Sofa that we purchased. The delivery team were amazing too, massive thanks to Tighe and Dave!

I wanted to share my experience of looking for and purchasing a Harlow 2 seater sofa from Bradbeers, Hedge End, Southampton. The layout of the store was amazing. In addition, I felt comfortable not being swooped upon by sales people which I find off putting. I came across a lady called Leena who was a great help in pointing out issues that were important to me one being made in UK and what the frame of the sofa was made from etc. She gave me a good amount of information to go home with and 2 leather samples were requested to be sent to my address to match up with our lounge.

Within a few days I received my samples and in turn I emailed Leena to agree the price and that I would go back with my husband to view. We went ahead and were told we should get our sofa for Christmas! I would always go back to Bradbeers for any future purchases. In fact I have my eye on an armchair.....

A wonderful experience straight from entering the Store. Left initially to look around the front of the store when Lena asked if wanted any help. We showed her our photographs and video of our lounge so she could see our old suite and advise when we let her know what we wanted. We were then shown to the correct area. Lena left us to have a look before returning to give us more details on any of the ones we had liked. We looked at 3 different suites but one stood out for comfort and was exactly what we wanted. Lena then took us to her desk to go through the options and measurements. Such a pleasant lady, chatted easily and we felt like valued customers. We decided to head home to measure our original furniture and see what options would fit in. As we knew Lena would be back in store on the Thursday we headed over and were thrilled that we were able to purchase our new 3 piece suite, over a cup of tea and biscuit. Even more delighted by the option of electric rather than manual. We also were able to have 0% Interest. We are just waiting now for our new suite to be delivered, the normal delivery time being up to 4 months. We also purchased a set of 2 small tables and a taller table which will fit perfectly with our new suite. These have already arrived in store and we were able to pop back in and say Hi and look again at our suite which we cannot wait to be delivered. Thank you again Lena for all your help.

What a great shop,everyone was helpful but not pushy if only other stores could be like this 10/10 guys.The manager Luke took time out to speak with us and sort out an order.We will be back for sure.

Outstanding customer service with a personal touch, which is a rarity in this digital age!

We’ve just moved to the area and our house needs new flooring throughout and we’re having a furniture refresh at the same time. We’ve visited Bradbeers a few times since last Autumn earmarking all the items we were interested in from carpets to dining room and bedroom furniture as well as new sofas. As an independent retailer, they have a diverse and inspiring range of furniture all under one roof. So Bradbeers had absolutely everything we were looking for and we placed a large order today. Luke, the Manager, together with Kevin from the flooring department and Derek from the furniture department could not have been more helpful or supportive. They really appreciated our business and looked after us exceptionally well. It’s been a joy to deal with them and I’m sure the delivery and fitting process will be equally good. It’s been such a refreshing purchasing experience and I cannot recommend Bradbeers highly enough.

Massive range of quality furniture - and knowledgeable staff who really know the products: we’re really pleased we purchased our sofa there.

Went in last week just for a mooch. Spoke with Denise who was absolutely fabulous. Great product knowledge, affable, amenable, friendly and a great ‘can do’ demeanour.
Went back today to purchase as after going to every other furniture store locally to compare, Bradbeers came out the best. I will always start there for any furniture purchases in future.

We were on a budget so were delighted to pick up 2 sofas in the clearance section. Excellent advice from Luke and David. Very happy with our purchases.

Great customer service, never hassled and left to your own devices unless you want or need help, Great products, not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for in this world. We have had no issues with them to date and long may it last although I’m not sure the bank manager would agree…. 3 separate purchases / orders this year and I suspect more to come … thanks for doing what other stores can’t.
