B&Q Southampton - Nursling

I had a very helpful member of staff serve me today at B&Q , Sue from the garden part spent time with me explaining what I would need to make a bottle terrarium her advice was invaluable and she was so kind polite and helpful. She greeted me with a smile and nothing was too much trouble , she made my day

Popped in today to get a radiator and got fantastic advice and help from Nathan. Nothing was too much trouble for him and he took the time to walk us through the best options and happily looked up any questions we had. Bought a bathroom extractor and had a problem fitting it because the ceiling had been reboarded, twice. Anyway, went back and spoke to the gentleman in plumbing who was really helpful, spent time to understand the issues, and came up with the perfect solution. Brilliant.
Also returned some electrical fittings with no receipt, and the check out person, very politely, searched my account, found the transaction, and raised the credit.
Must admit, not the sort of service I often experience in B and Q although the gentleman in plumbing is always extremely knowledgeable and helpful.

Great customer service from Emma. She helped us to choose the best paint colour and was happy to help. She was very knowledgable and knew what she was talking about which made the whole process smooth. Thank you Emma!

This is a really big B&Q and has almost everything you could want! Staff are friendly and helpful. They have an excellent flower selection and often do good deals over the bank holidays

Great help, great customer service. A lovely till worker saved an unused £5 off voucher a customer didn't want. He presented us with it as we were going to pay and we respectfully said yes please.

He made our day as it was a nice surprise.

Perfect for all your DIY and garden needs. Very helpful staff with good knowledge of products. If the person you ask doesn't know, they will find someone who does. They often have offers on through departments, and getting their free membership card is a must.

Don’t usually leave reviews. Peter who works the wood cutting machine at B&Q Nursling was the most helpful person I’ve ever met! I went in with what sizes I thought I needed & then confused myself massively. Peter took the time to help me work out everything I needed after I explained it (badly) & was spot on! Will definitely use his service again.

Really great service from the team on the Collect desk.
I was looking for an item that showed two in stock on the website but when I went to the aisle I couldn't find either, despite having a good old rummage.
I went to the desk to ask and they radioed a colleague who brought one from somewhere deep in the warehouse.
No fuss, just smooth, professional service from start to finish.

Have bought many household items from padlocks to toilet seats to planks of wood to hosepipes. There's usually something at a reasonable price

Tania at the customer service desk was so lovely and helpful!
I brought some tiling bits earlier on this year ready for our bathroom to be decorated, and me being me, I overestimated how much was needed. I went into store and Tania made me aware that even with no receipt, she was able to check on the system just by providing date of purchase. She was very patient and even without having my original card to make a refund, she kindly offered to exchange these items saving us over £50!
Will defiantly be coming back!

Helpful and happy security guard, staff always try their best to help especially the older ones. Could do with a better range of household bulbs in stock but it looks like they are concentrating on Christmas decorations at the moment.....

We shopped there today and wanted to buy a wash basin for our cloakroom. We asked one of the assistants in the bathroom department, Chris, to help and advise. He was a really nice, polite young man and proved to be very helpful and knowledgeable.

Always have been able to find what I needed. Staff are always on hand to help with advice or directions to find what you want.
Toilets for customer use.
No cafe, but a refreshment van in the car park and I can recommend the bacon sandwiches!

Found item I was looking for with ease, great selection of live plants...easy operation at tills...the local B&Q did not have item...

My husband and myself went to get our emulsion and paint ready to decorate our kitchen,we were helped by a young lady called Millie Anne on the mix paint section, she was so helpful and the knowledge she had for a young lady was a credit to her,B&Q you are very fortunate to have an employee who really cares in looking after the public,thankyou so much Millie you made our day.

They do a "pick and mix" for screws, bolts, washers etc. I needed about 6 screws of varying sizes so didn't have to buy lots of packs. Great idea!

Popped in for a Click & Collect order and ended up buying all new kitchen doors! Absolutely amazing customer service, not just from one member of staff, but everyone that helped me. In particular Sam and Fran on kitchens were fantastic! I will definitely be returning to this store.
