Had a really great Sunday roast here. Price was reasonable, the portion sizes were great and the staff were so friendly and helpful.

The waitress's suggestion of the pumpkin spiced latte cake with custard was a game changer as well.

Bob Charlotte and your amazing staff today was mothers day but more important was my wife's birthday. We took my family and a couple of friends, OMG how busy you were and your amazing staff kept going and smiling amazing they are .we all had different meals amazing considering there 10 of us and none of us waited long but that was not a problem. We had a fantastic time, fantastic food, served by your fantastic staff Bob thank you so much for today it was amazing, best wishes Mick Sheehan and family 👪.

Had a lovely lunch here the week before Christmas. Even though they were very busy the service was excellent. Very happy and helpful staff.
The food was delicious...I had the sea bass which was better than some that I've had at Rick Steins 😳
Hubby had Sausage and mash.....delicious sausages 😋

Great pub with a wide ranging, tasty & good priced menu. Service was also friendly, attentive and efficient even for our larger table of 10.

Really is a wide ranging menu. From more standard pub food, to more restaurant style dishes, through streetfood options, pizzas and even things like Steak Fondue (Sliced rump steak meal, but served with the addition of a camembert for dipping)

I had the Meat Lovers Burger 😋

The owner was so warm and hospitable. The food was amazing, the bartenders were the best And the atmosphere was comfortable. Thank you for letting us stay the night. Sending you love from Texas ❤❤

Wow! Best pub we have visited in a long time. Ample parking and pleasant exterior. Greeted at the door and shown to our table. Menu was so varied and reasonably priced. Drinks and food arrived promptly. Food was 10/10, great portion and very hot. Staff were always on hand for questions or requests. We will be back, regularly.

The Wyvern is not what it appears to be from the kerb side. This pub is a hidden gem. Dont let the exterior put you off. The food is of a calibre that is above the normal level of pub grub. The staff go above and beyond to make your dining experience a very pleasant one. Full marks for this achievement. The menu is quite varied, as are the sides. The apple crumble is one of the better tasting versions I have had dining out. (...can't beat homemade.) I would recommend you atleast try it once and make your own mind up. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

There is friendly staff at hand with a great selection of Alcohol on offer with scrummy food to boot......well worth a visit

Popped into the Wyvern with my family for lunch as I had heard good things about the place and it did not disappoint. Great pub with amazing food ( even my fussy son ate everything ) and friendly staff. We will definitely be back. Thanks for having us guys. 5stars

I booked the ‘conservatory’ function room for my Husband’s 65th Birthday party last night - I can’t recommend The Wyvern Pub more highly … honestly they were fantastic at the booking stage, the food was delicious (lots of people commented how great it was), the service was exemplary and they even helped put up the birthday banners! - the whole night was just FANTASTIC… absolutely 5 star!

One of our favourite pubs stops. Great for a family meal to break up a road trip.

Beer is kept very well and there is a lot of choice on the menu.

Staff very accommodating.

I’ve been there twice with my family and the food is absolutely delicious and the service fabulous. Second time was my brother in law birthday and I asked to write on the plate happy birthday and the ladies not only done that but they came and sang happy birthday to him, I was astonished ❤Totally recommend it 🥰

Lovely pub with plenty of nice touches such as a tropical fish tank 🐠, cosy little nooks 🛋 and a gorgeous garden 🪴 Food was outstanding for taste and fairly good for portion size. I would love to try one of their roasts on the Sabbath 😋
Lastly, staff were very polite and accommodating and facilities were conveniently placed and of a good clean standard

Had the mussels here on quiz night last week. The sauce was delicious and I could have had a load more (what was served was more than enough but it was very good) sadly a lot of my mussels hadn't opened so I couldn't eat them, but that didn't spoil the taste.

First time visiting this very nice pub.

Came with a huge amount of chips and chicken wings. Several very tasty dips( You pay a very small amount for all the dips and it's more then worth it 👍 highly recommend getting them all🤤)
Great value for money and very tasty all perfectly prepared.
All the very professional and very cheerful friendly staff made us feel welcome. The menu has a great selection of foods I will be going back there with the rest of friends and family.

We went in yesterday for the England game, stupidly without booking a table… Despite this, Toby (the tall manager/supervisor) saw my partner couldn’t walk without support so found a snug space to squeeze us in and personally made sure we were allocated a lovely member of his team to cater for us. If anyone likes a pub with an atmosphere then I highly recommend the Wyvern. The only downside was that they had run out of roasts, so we had to go with alternative dishes. THANK YOU to Toby and his team. We will most definitely be back.

What a gem! The menu in this place is amazing. It's got all your pub favourites, plus really lovely pizzas, street food from around the world and the biggest bowl of chicken wings and chips you've ever seen!
Staff really friendly as well. Family friendly so good for the kids too, if you're that way inclined!

This is one of the most lovely pubs I have been to lately. Staff are lovely and nothing is too much trouble. Food is amazing especially the apple caramel crumble. I had 2 😊

Excellent service & comfy place to have a dinner. Great taste and size portions are appropriate.
