Swallow Barn Wales

What a lovely gem of a place to come across. We had a beautiful little stay. Wood etc provided and more available to purchase on-site I loved the little touches including hot water bottles which my girls used to warm their beds. Designated cooking areas for each unit. Toilet & shower facilities separate blocks for both men and women which was lovely. Place was extremely clean. Cant wait to come back :)

Lovely site, 50s-picnic-basket chic . Really clear explanations for things as needed without ridiculous/ invasive rules and signs. For instance, easy to make tea on arrival. Relaxed atmosphere, beautiful tent with just the right finishing touches. Only down moment was making the decision to take my clothes / towel into the shower with me and getting them wet (maybe there was a sign needed there or maybe I was just silly). Small fry that doesn't detract from the stars.

Amazing one night stay at Swallows Barn for three families(3 adults, 7 children ranging from 7 to 11). Beautiful setting in the picturesque Welsh Valleys, and only 30 minutes away from Cardiff. The owners are fantatsic; kind and very helpful. The facilities are excellent - immaculately clean and fashionably displayed. Can't recommendation highly enough! We visited Ponty Lido and Abercynon Lesiure Centre nearby.

We hired the whole place for a fiends 30th
and had THE BEST STAY on the campsite last weekend. It was clean, organised and very well maintained. The owners were friendly and helpful but gave us our own space to enjoy our stay so we never felt like we were being ‘watched’.

Such a lovely quaint place to stay. The accommodation was clean and cosy. There are toilets, showers, kitchen and shared spaces. It is such a relaxing place to be.
