Ben did a great job for me, re doing a roof and finishing work, that was incorrectly done. The price was fair and he and his workmate paid great attention to detail. I would recommend him.

Ben was a great choice of roofer - I would thoroughly recommend him and his team. We needed our lead ridges replaced, as well as several tiles. He was consistently responsive throughout, even when I was asking many questions about scaffolding, timings, extra pieces of work - he was very patient and gave me clear, professional advice throughout. He turned up promptly, explained exactly what he was doing, and completed the work to a great standard. He replaced extra chipped or clipped tiles, and even cleared the gutters at the end (as other builders had left them full of rubble). Overall an extremely positive experience - thank you Ben for taking pride in your work!

I can't recommend Ben (Harmes & Co Roofing) enough. For the last year we have been living with builders, carpenters, roofers, electricians whilst renovating our home. During this time I have come to understand the difference between good and not so good trades people. We used Ben due to not being happy with the roofer who had carried out a lot of our other work. Not only was Ben's quote very competitive, they ended up charging us less as they spent less time on the job than expected - super ethical, honest, friendly, tidy, polite, professional and fantastic quality of work! Ben was doing some work on a neighbour's house and the scaffolders that were also on the job (but not part of Ben's company) damaged my house by reversing a ladder/scaffolding into my cladding. Ben was brilliant from the off, he took responsibility for arranging the fix (even though it wasn't his company that did the damage), kept me updated whilst awaiting the parts, and turned up when he said he would to do the fix. Fix took less than 2hrs and both Ben and his colleague were extremely apologetic and polite throughout, thank you Ben!

Excellent experience with Ben from start to finish. Provided a quote within a few days from initial contact, agreed a date and then carried out the work on the exact date. Quote was very reasonable esp as the job turned out to be a bit more complex than originally expected. Would recommend Ben to anyone.

Ben did a great job on finding and repairing the leak in my roof. He removed the coping stones, added fresh lead flashing and applied external sealant. He showed me photos of what he'd done and I was very happy. I would definitely recommend him.

Ben has offered us a solution to repair and fixed tile vent which is not easy as we have a velux window in the bathroom and the fan is too far in the loft.

We needed various urgent repairs to an old roof and Ben took care of it all for a very reasonable price. He was very helpful throughout, organised scaffolding and everything happened when he said it would, no messing about. He sent us pictures of everything as he was doing the job and work was completed on time, solving several problems for us in one job.
