The guys here at SOS did an amazing repair on my iPhone after it completely turned off and wouldn't come back on! It was fixed on the same day I took it in which I wash shocked as I thought I would have to return for it days later, the guys make excellent communication and will try to match or beat the price on any other quote you have had! I would highly recommend these guys and i will most certainly be returning for any future repairs!!!!

My son's windows phone got smashed, and within 48 hours we had the phone back, as good as new! The charge for repair was the most competitive price in the area and with a 12 month guarantee. The staff are extremely helpful,friendly and knowledgeable and if we have any other problems with devices I would definitely return. Highly recommend!!

Excellent repairers. Sorted my daughters 6 month old HP Laptop that another technician had said wasn't worth trying to repair. Initial cost was £300 so was made up when the lads sorted this for £65. Also repaired my sons PS 4 that kept spitting out the discs for £35. All done in the time in took me to go to Manchester Airport and back.

I have used this business twice now and both times my issues were resolved. Even though he was very busy, he helped me remotely using the anydesk app which he installs as part of his aftercare, if you want it. He was true to his word about the warranty. Due to the nature of my laptop issue, resolving the problem took some time...well after 11pm on a friday night. But he persisted until all the issues were resolved. I can honestly say he was committed, polite and genuinely worries about his customers opinions. I wouldn't hesitate to use this business again. When he is busy, just have a little patience, because its worth it.

This is the second time the team have repaired one of my Macs and I'm am delighted with the service provided and the price charged. I read other reviews about delays etc but, as was correctly pointed out by way of response to a criticism, you take your out of Applecare computer to Apple and see, (a) how long they take to repair it and, (b) how much you are going to get charged. My iMac would never have been worth repairing at Apple but SOS have given it a new lease of life and even upgraded it for a very modest cost. And it's now faster than ever! In my view, a top quality service at a sensible price. I will most certainly be returning again for all future work on my Apple products.

Had a rather rare and quite serious fault with my Macbook Pro. I took it to SOS computing and they sorted it out and got me back up and running. They gave me a top-notch service, kept me regularly updated and they were thoroughly nice and honest people. I am always wary of using a local company as opposed to a national but there was really no need to be. It was very refreshing to see a company who's priority is customer satisfaction first and foremost. I will definitely be back to them if I encounter any future problems with my computer equipment.

it was the first time i used this shop and will definitely be using it in the future and will be recommending it to everyone. the staff were very friendly patient and very knowledgeable. Once again I returned to the team at SOS to sort out my troublesome Macbook Pro, upgrade the RAM, add an SSD drive and move the old drive to the disc drive slot. And once again they came up trumps, as they had done previously. Their service is faultless, their prices very keen and to top it all, they are really nice, honest and reliable lads. As I remarked in an earlier review about my iMac, I wouldn't send my my Apple kit anywhere else now.

Wow! Just took receipt of a totally amazing Gaming PC, custom built by the guys at SOS Computing. The guys are really knowledgeable and built a system that is brilliant yet still great value, especially compared with typical high street stores. Unfortunately, it's not for me, it's for my son, he's absolutely blown away by it! :-)

DO NOT GO TO THE APPLE STORE IF YOUR COMPUTER IS BROKE.

I'll break it down for you.

I was DJ'in at a house party when the inevitable happened and someone spilt a Corona on my Macbook Pro.

The morning after (which was on a Sunday) after the swelling had reduced from my eyes from crying and my hand had half healed from punching the culprit in the face I called the apple store in Manchester. I explained what had happened and asked them for a rough price to fix it, what the 'genius' responded with took me back so far I witnessed the birth of the baby Jesus.

Once the baby Jesus was delivered safely and I'd finished my conversation with the three wise men I awoke from my coma and called SOS computing. I explained I had a laptop full of 8 hour beer and that it was starting to smell like the inside of a tramps trousers. He ordered me to get in my car and bring him the laptop and opened the shop for me ON A SUNDAY!

LESS THAN 24 HOURS LATER I collected my fully functional, purified, 12 month guaranteed Macbook Pro for a fraction of the cost!!!

As I mentioned earlier, do not go to 'Apple resellers' or the Apple store as you too will be induced into a coma and then robbed blindly by a 'genius'

If I'm ever stupid enough to take my silver child to another house party again, be sure that when the inevitable happens, I shall be returning.

I must say that these two guys are the biz, i took my complely knackerd lap top to the shop and within three hours they got in touch to tell me it was ready, i could'nt beleive it.No matter what anyone else says about Mike and Dave and their shop, trust me you wont find a better shop and two nicer guys to run it. Excellent, helpful & a great price! I left my laptop with the guys as a whole folder had disappeared & I was stressing about it! They managed to find & recover the folder along with everything in it! Really pleased (and relieved) 😊

Brought my pc in as I thought my psu was on the blink.

24 hours it is back in my possession not with a new psu (as this wasn't needed) thanks for the honesty chaps.

OMG - Mikey is amasing, bought a 2015 Imac from him today, and i couldnt be more happy, he opened his shop on Saturday night for me to make sure i could get the machine, got it for a great price, and honestly i think i have found my new "go-to" computer guy!
