I had major problems after a computer re start. I have usually been able to sort out myself but I really tied myself up in knots with this one. I think Neil would agree that it wasn't easy for him either, my attempts to sort out the problem had made things more difficult!
Anyway Neil stuck at it and succeeded. Not only is he very knowledgeable he is also a really nice chap to do business with.
My ageing All in One is now working much better than it has for a long time and if I decide to upgrade , I know where I will be visiting. Thanks again , Tony

Great local shop to buy all your printer and computer essentials especially reacement inks. Off street parking behind the premises and a friendly and helpful guy behind the counter to serve you. Also good selection of pics on offer to buy at good premises so why pay big store prices.

Excellent service. I rang on the Thursday spoke to Neil told him the problem I were having with my laptop. He came up with a few solutions over the phone what to do. He collected the laptop Thursday afternoon and returned it Friday afternoon with all the problems sorted. Top service. Will definitely use them again.

Purchased a new full system for my mum as hers was running slow and was 6 years old. I have used PC Academy myself recently and found them to be polite, helpful and professional so I thought I would use their services for my mums purchase. I just love going to this shop! Although some might class me as a bit of a Luddite, I'm never made to feel incompetent by the staff. A sound problem with my computer was quickly solved whilst I was in the shop, with full and simple explanations given - and no charge. Absolutely brilliant service!

We used PC Academy as it is a local firm and we like to support firms in our own town. So glad we did. On our first enquiry into a new computer he demonstrated the different models he had in store. He asked questions on how we used the computer and what we wanted it to do for us, thereby enabling him to guide us to the most suitable one.
We took our old computer to him and he transferred everything on to the new one. Having arranged a time to come to our house to set it up he completed everything with an hour.
Excellent service, clear explanation on all our questions. Even advised us after the sale on something we had a problem with (our problem not his).
Would definitely recommend PC Academy for all computer needs.

Great service. Really helpful. Competitive prices. Far better than a big company. Ridiculous that they aren't seen as an essential service when everyone is relying on IT but they have to close during lockdown.

Update May 2017. Quoted me a reasonable price to fix my partner's broken laptop screen, and stuck to it. Cost less than I thought. Also kept me updated via text during the process.

Well, I managed to screw up my desktop by uploading Windows 10 on to Windows 7. Lost 2 of my 4 screens, then decided to update my drivers. then lost my other 2 screens. Argh! No PC, end of the world! Then I searched for a repairer and found PC Academy. Took my PC in Friday morning, collected it Friday afternoon - all sorted! When you need help it is good to know that you have somebody local who can provide the level of support required to get you out of a hole! Highly recommend PC Academy - 5 Star.
