Peter was professional and helpful from start to finish and made the process very easy for both the valuation and surveys undertaken. I found Peter to be honest and friendly, whilst being diligent in his work and providing useful reports with detailed commentary. Couldn't recommend him highly enough and will continue to use Peter's services in the future.

Not sure why I haven't reviewed this guy before he did both our surveys in 2009 and 2013. Brilliant. Recommend thoroughly. Good prices and very good communication.

Highly recommend Peter, and I would certainly look to use him again in the future. Honest, helpful, thorough and clear - his communication and report were easy to understand and I needed not bother him with further questions (although I'm sure he would have been happy to answer any!). He was able to fit my Home Survey Report in promptly and his prices were very reasonable.

Peter was extremely helpful over the phone and by email and replied to us promptly. His survey was very detailed and picked up things that we never would have noticed from viewing the house. After getting a handful of quotes, I chose Peter to do our Homebuyers survey. I chose Peter as he was really competitive on price, but also returned various calls and emails very promptly. He knew we were in a hurry to get the report carried out, and got the report to us quicker than we expected. Everything he said he would do for us he did, exactly when he told us he would do it. I rarely take the trouble to write reviews like this, but felt that I should share my really good experience.

Peter was super friendly on the phone and was really prompt with communication throughout. The call I had with him at the start made me confident he was the right person. The report was very thorough and received the next day. Would highly recommend!

Initial contact with PCCS was after reading so many positive reviews. After receiving a fast detailed email response to my initial enquiry I decided to go ahead with a Level 2 survey as Peter was not currently carrying out Level 3 surveys due to workload. Having had Level 2 surveys in the past that did not provide adequate or fully accurate detail I was skeptical it may not have fulfilled my needs.
I was wrong. Peter completed the level 2 survey and provided a detailed report tailored around my specific requirements to such an extent I didn't really have any remaining questions to ask after reading the report. From start to finish Peter was professional, responded to every enquiry quickly with comprehensive answers and subsequently offered his personal thoughts about the viability of the property as a purchase, which after all is a life changing decision. I cannot recommend Peter highly enough. If you are reading this ahead of requesting a level 2 survey then don't look any further, get booking, you won't regret it.

I contacted Peter Collins Chartered Surveyor along with about another 6 surveyors for quotations for a home buyer survey. Peter provided a quotation which was competitive and timescales which suited us. Communication was great and Peter arranged his visit directly with the sales agent. The report was provided very quickly and is thorough without being over finicky, all the information provided in the report is actionable and we have been given a very clear understanding of the properties immediate and ongoing maintenance requirements.
