Flower Market Cafe

Just want to say how impressed we were with the staff and service at this cafe. We've been here many times and the staff have mostly been pleasant, but rather slow, and somewhat inefficient (no trays being cleared, only wiping tables if someone is waiting etc) but this time was completely different.
We had been to the dog show and I had a bad leg which I needed to put up and rest, one of the staff (I think her name was Marie .. used to be a doctor's receptionist) noticed my leg was quite swollen and bought me a cold wet cloth and some paper towel to help with the swelling. She was so pleasant I just feel she deserves a mention.
We had cake and drinks which arrived very quickly and was delicious, will definitely return.

Very kind service. It was very busy and had to wait over 40 minutes for my brunch but I was advised that it would take about 25 mins but had to wait longer. Waiting staff were very kind and very efficient clearing and cleaning tables. Will certainly use again.

Lovely cafe with plenty of seating and lots of delicious cakes! They always seem to have a gluten free option and they are just as tasty as their other cakes. Staff are usually very quick to clear tables.

Very busy but good service and friendly staff.We had afternoon tea which was very nice and a reasonable price.Nice cafe ,although busy,quiter than the restaurant.

Good cafe, nice coffee

Just went for coffee and cake, very friendly, very clean, the food coming out looked delicious, however we waited ages for our coffee to be served after a long wait in the queue to order it. Approximately 20 minutes wait .

Lunchtime during half term so knew it would be busy...but the place had been rediculously laid out meaning it was far too cramped.
Kids lunch boxes were decent (except all the gingerbread men were headless) but the jacket potato was the driest I think I've ever tried in my life. No butter, freezing cold filling and a dry overcooked potato...for £10! Very pricey for what you get, atmosphere was awful and the staff left much to be desired, very inattentive, general lack care. Love coming to Millet's but won't bother with here again.

Having enjoyed eating here previously today I have to say was truly awful, I had jacket potato with prawns and rose Marie sauce the jacket potato was cold, hard and dry with tiny prawns and a tasteless sauce, my husband had the chicken burger which was dry and also tasteless although he did manage to eat most of it, I complained to the waitress who I have to add was sympathetic offered cake instead, and brought me some butter (which didn't help) she then arranged a refund for the jacket potato which I accepted, but having said that this is a Farm Shop so no excuse
