We went for a walk to admire the autumnal colours. Lovely views and a mixture of walks for different abilities. Quite muddy in places. Free parking is available, a good mix of wildlife and birds.

Great place for a walk. We went down to the lake, our dog jumped straight in for a cool down. On the way back, we turned right and went up the “steps” which took us on a long walk, with some steeper points but nothing too hard. Our dog (gsd) coped well with it too. Took us about 2 hours do do the walk which ended back at the small car park.

Beautiful place for a cold January walk, I'm sure summer will be just as amazing. Paths clear and scenery stunning.

Stunning landscape, great trails and a decent car park. This place has it all, don't take my word for it though, get here and walk or ride. You won't regret it.
The trails are fairly testing so novice riders aren't recommended if you're straying away from the main area like dimmingsdale. Walkers... Go nuts! It's mega!

Very wild, steep in places. You know it when you have Walked round and I love it. Follow the track to the bottom and there is a lovely pond and my dog loves it.

Great circular route through mature woodland, a good hour or so to walk. Anti clockwise the ascent is quite challenging, but a good path. Dog loved it, or so he said.

We visited yesterday. Used as a starting place for a walk into Dimmingsdale. Parking for approx 6 cars if parked sensibly. Staffordshire Way footpath passes through the site? There are other marked paths not shown on an OS map but we did not use these. This is a beautiful walking and mountain biking area with plenty of posts and tracks to discover

Nice place to take a walk and walk the dog. Paths can be steep and lot's of tree roots, so carefully does it.

Nice place to walk the dog and take a stroll. Can be steep and uneven foot paths.

Lovely area. Several paths to wander, bit be warned, a long hill down to the river means you have to climb back up!

A very enjoyable place with a seat by a pond to enjoy lunch with long walks through different parts of the heavily wooded property.
