The staff were friendly and helpful. We had a lovely, clean big room overlooking a green so very peaceful. The king-sized bed was comfy and it was great to be able to take a bath, not just shower. We didn't get to check out the gym facilities as we were there for an event. The food at the do was OK, nothing special, but breakfast was very good. We'd definitely stay there again

The hotel is lovely and clean. The rooms were very clean. It was never a problem to ask the staff for anything. There were plenty of staff on, the breakfast in the morning was amazing. I particularly love the proper Continental breakfast where you get the cold meats and the yogurt, not just pastries they have Starbucks Cafe which is nice. We had something to eat in the bar and the food was nice I love the fact that you get to use the pool sauna and hot tub as part of your stay and the kids absolutely loved it. The only day that was a bit difficult was Sunday because there was a swimming lesson going on but even then it was still fine. The car Park's fine. Although I think like with most used uk venues, they're not used to big cars and more and more people are getting bigger cars so it can be difficult for cars to fit in their spaces. Particularly when a lot of people have got BMWs Volvos Ferraris. They're just not fitting in the spaces that are there, but there was plenty of space still. It just might be an issue on busier days we did have an issue where I think the batteries in the TV remote had died and the lady did give me a remote straight away. No problem. Unfortunately there were no batteries in it but I never reported to them cuz it was not a problem for me We had one in the other room as we had joined rooms I like the fact that the TV has the ability to let you cast from your phone. However, we weren't able to make it work. Properly it only works for one episode of bluey and then just didn't work after that. But that's not really the hotel's fault. That's more for the parent company to look into the software I would certainly stay here again if we needed to be in that part of the country The only other thing worth saying Is they do have a courtyard in the middle? Unfortunately you cannot smoke or even vape in this area which is a shame. I get why they've done it but during our stay not one person used it yet. There was plenty of people out the front of the hotel vaping or smoking. I certainly think it'd be worth only having it smoke free in the summer, although that does irritate me cuz it's like oh, we're good enough in the winter but not in the summer or just allocating part of it as smoking. I get that they don't want to upset non-smoking guests but smoking guests are paying the same rate. It's not like we get a discount

A Fantastic Family Holiday at Holiday Inn Aylesbury

Our recent stay at Holiday Inn Aylesbury was nothing short of fantastic! As a family looking for a convenient yet tranquil getaway near London, we couldn't have chosen a better place.

The hotel's location is pleasantly situated, offering a peaceful ambiance away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Surrounded by scenic views, it provided a serene backdrop for our holiday retreat.

One of the highlights of our stay was undoubtedly the delightful culinary experience. The chefs at Holiday Inn Aylesbury worked wonders with their fresh and delectable food offerings. Each meal was a treat for the taste buds, leaving us thoroughly satisfied after every dining experience.

The amenities at the hotel were top-notch. The warm, clean pool and well-equipped gym were perfect for keeping both adults and children entertained and active throughout our stay. The spacious and impeccably clean rooms provided a comfortable haven for relaxation after a day of exploration.

What truly sets Holiday Inn Aylesbury apart, however, is its exceptional staff. The restaurant and other personnel were incredibly helpful and honest. I experienced their commendable integrity firsthand when I absentmindedly left my laptop in the dining area. To my relief, the hotel staff promptly retrieved it and brought it to our room, demonstrating their commitment to guest satisfaction and service excellence.

In summary, Holiday Inn Aylesbury exceeded our expectations in every aspect. From its tranquil location to its fantastic dining options, impeccable amenities, and outstanding staff, it truly stands out as one of the best hotels near London for families seeking a memorable holiday experience. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a blend of comfort, convenience, and hospitality. We can't wait to return for another delightful stay!

The room was spacious and clean and a comfortable large bed.
Had a bath and shower, which was lovely
The pool and gym were clean and great to use, lovely outdoor garden space.
Car Park had plenty of space
Staff were friendly and helpful
Breakfast was cooked beautifully and had lots of options and topped up even near to the end of breakfast, which was useful as we had a late breakfast in the end and still had plenty there.
Great prices for room and breakfast
We will definitely be back.

We were really impressed with this place! The hotel itself was lovely, easy to get to, and our room was great. We had a king suite and the size was fab for us as a family of 4. The main reason for writing this review though, was the service. Two people in particular deserve a mention and we hope you feed this back! First person was the chef on the evening of our stay, Thursday 4th April. He was called Stuart, and he came to meet us and ask our little boy what he would like to eat. Our little boy is 7 and he has Coeliac Disease so cannot have anything containing or may containing gluten. The menu for him to be honest wasnt great at all and should be looked at, and usually our boy feels a burden due to this, but not with Stuart. He made him feel so special, and he rustled him up a bolognaise and cheesy chips, with a brownie for his pudding. Our boy hasn't stopped talking about the brownie he made him for his pudding and told everyone. You made his stay Stuart so thank you! Also the morning after, on the 5th April at breakfast, the manager Stephen was very accommodating, knew his stuff and gave us the confidence we always need when giving our little boy food. He was also great to chat to, and was fab with out toddler too. Thank you both for making our stay even better than it already was. We hope you get a pay rise or a bonus 🤭

We had the Olivier suite for a business meeting. From the booking proces with Tracy, through to the guys who looked after us on the day, the whole experience was very professional. Stephen was attentive ensuring we were notified at break times and the chef was very helpful when explaining the lunch plans.

We shall rebook for our next meeting for sure!

The place looked fresh, modern, and clean. Quite quiet when I was there. The gym and small swimming area looked nice, but I didn't use these this time. I had a lovely relaxing reflexology treatment with Donna in the wellbeing/physio suite. It was very handy having this as treat without having to leave the hotel!

Very clean. Lovely food. Excellent customer service. Highly recommend.
Only problem was smoking area out side the front entrance which wasn’t nice. Lovely patio seating area for none smokers in the middle of the Inn. Maybe Holiday Inn need to provide a nice patio area for smokers on the side land to the right similar for smokers as there is plenty of land available.

We had a lovely overnight stay recently at this hotel. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We had two interconnecting rooms, both were clean, well appointed and comfortable. The pool area does need refurbishment but I understand this is already in the pipeline. Breakfast in the hotel was very good, plenty of variety, and the chef was on the ball with the hot food. My only criticism would be the evening meal we had in the restaurant. No issue with the staff, they were great but the food was subpar and expensive for what it was. We had Pate to start, asked for butter received margarine. The bread tasted quite stale and was hard but not toasted like I would expect. The main was ok (chicken burger) but if I stayed again I would probably eat elsewhere in the evening, over £100 for our meal seemed expensive for what we got. Saying that I have given five stars as the hotel was good value for money overall in respect of the rooms, breakfast and the staff. A good choice for a family stay. Our children enjoyed watching the wild rabbits out of the window of our room. Thank you 😊

We were part of a coach party, check in was super fast and extremely helpful. Hotel was immaculate, room was fantastic, huge comfortable bed, very well appointed. Everything you could have required was there including iron and board. Food was plentiful, hot and very tasty. All staff we came in contact with were extremely friendly, polite and helpful. Only down side was slow service at the bar but can't comment if this is a regular occurrence. Would highly recommend this hotel.
10/10 spot on!!

AMAZING!
I travel for work on a monthly basis from Asia to Latin America. Hence, I am quite obsessed with hotels.
And I have to say this is such an AMAZING hotel: the price for what you get is quite fantastic. The hotel and rooms are very clean, staff is so attentive and welcoming, there is a taxi service available at all time, gym and swimming pool included and food is good quality and well presented.
Highly recommended!!!!

This was a really pleasant surprise. The hotel environment itself was very clean, tidy and smart. The staff were all first class, polite and helpful. Rooms were roomy enough and the spare bed was made up before we arrived. Very impressed for a simple couple of nights away.

Stayed the weekend for a reunion. Couldn't fault the place. Even when I needed to inflate one of the tyres on my hire car, the maintenance guy got his own inflator and did my tyre for me. Excellent service, nice venue.

Based on my experience, I don't understand why the hotel has such a low rating on Google Maps. My only complaint is that I was only there for a short time. The hotel exceeded my expectations in every way possible. The room was spacious and squeaky clean, and the bed and sheets were incredibly cozy. What really stood out to me was the staff - they were great and extremely helpful. The wifi was also very quick, which was a bonus. All things considered, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great place to stay.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was really good. The room was plenty big enough for the four of us ( 2 adults and 2 children). The children loved the swimming pool it tired them out for a good night's sleep. We only stayed for one night but we will definitely stay again we really enjoyed our stay.
