The transformation of a former bank into a vibrant food and drink establishment is truly remarkable. It offers a distinctive and captivating ambiance, providing a unique place to unwind and enjoy oneself. The toasties served here are exceptionally delightful, crafted with love and care.

What makes this place even more intriguing is the downstairs area, which was once the bank's vault. It has been ingeniously repurposed as a seating area, lending a cool and atmospheric vibe. It also serves as a "jail cell" for the alcoholic drinks, adding a playful touch to the experience. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the wide selection of draft beers is simply unparalleled. I wholeheartedly recommend visiting this extraordinary establishment.

Nice pub in a bank building, the vault was downstairs and has been converted to sitting areas. The bank manager's office is a nice sitting area too. Looks like a locals hangout and dog friendly. The burger and pulled pork sandwich were good.

Was walking around, trying to find a place to eat, which catered for not only a vegetarian diet but for kids too.. We then came across this gem. Art deco was pretty cool and the vibe was so welcoming and friendly. Amazing for food, great options for "little 'un's" (kids) too! Staff were lovely, food was hot, fresh and fast.
-In love with the pub dog, who was incredibly cute! So, this establishment was dog friendly too which is a nice touch! Definitely worth visiting whilst around the area.

Great lunchtime beef stew. Loads of beef and a really tasty gravey. Along with crunchy red cabbage and a roll. My partner had a jacket with cheese & beans. It was too much for her but she is was good. Nice place to eat and sit a while

Lovely friendly service and excellent lunch. The Nachos were so well topped and the club sandwich was massive! Home cooked chips as well. Definitely worth a visit

Lovely pub with interesting decor from its previous life as a bank. The bar staff advised on beers as we were looking for local/Welsh ones to try. Nice relaxed atmosphere, good bar snacks as well.

Dog friendly, children friendly (until the evening time), long opening hours and there is a really impressive brew dog beer selection, including sours! Ah, and there are some power points if you want to come with your laptop and do some work during the day!

Excellent range of real ales and staff that are very knowledgeable of them and very friendly. One note is that it is dog friendly inside and four well behaved dogs were around on our visit.
