A great place for children, adults, families and dogs.

I regularly go there at any time of the year. These photos are in February 2024.

Lovely beach. Quiet. Plenty of parking, can get a good cup of tea and bacon roll. Even a dog friendly area :)

Always nice here. Not so much for the youngsters off the beach but a lovely beach, some nice places to eat and free parking

A beautiful spot and great for the kids. Play park and beach with a bar and restaurant just up the road.

Superb beach, but beware of the seaweed in the height of summer. Plenty of parking, ice cream kiosk, and decent restaurant all right there.

Really liked Minnis Bay. Kept meaning to go and have a look, finally did and we will definitely be going back.
Sandy beaches with easy access, completely different to Herne Bay and Margate. There are only a few shops etc so a much quieter place, which won't suit some people...
The Tidal Pool is not as big as the one in Margate and don't know how busy it gets at peak times, but will be going back to find out.
The road along the coast raises up along the cliffs and gives beautiful views across the area and to Margate.
The only real negative is there are only, I think, two roads in, which is probably why it is quieter here.
I don't want to encourage too many people to go, as I'd rather it stayed quiet!!

Beautiful day lots of parents out with their children and dog walkers . Brave people in the water and one male swimmer 🏊‍♀ told the water temperature is dropping daily .

Wide spaces for running, shallow swimming - and sea swimming pool - a lovely place on all weathers. Found a fossilised tooth, have found amber under rare weather conditions (sorry, sworn to secrecy) and the nearby cafe, now upped to restaurant, is a welcome haven.

Beautiful accessable quiet beaches. Mostly sandy. What's not to like. Still has free roadside parking if you arrive early. Good toilet block in car park behind the cafes and restraunt. Only people on the first sections of beach but just a short walk along and the dogs can go on a lovely sandy stretch. A play park occupies an area just at the junction turning onto the seafront. There abundant food outlets both kiosk and cafes. I have never felt stressed by crowds at minis Bay. It's a lovely all round entertaining beach resort

A great walk from Reculver Towers to Minnis Bay Beach. Lunch at Honey'z beach bar which I would recommend for a simple meal.

Who doesn't love Rock pooling. Birchington / Minnis Bay is definitely one of my fave spots to explore and the Tidal Pool had lots of crabs to catch.

Easy to park and all the convenience you need a nice walk , there is a dog beach that you can use all.year round.
But don't forget to clean up afterwards as warden's patrol.
A great day out for little money.
