Great campsite, greaf facilties with a cool little cafe and marquee bar area. There's also playpark for the kiddies right outside so you can keep your eye on them! Menu choices are great and not bad pricewise, with the added bonus of ace customer service!!!

Friendly and helpful staff. A family friendly site both for camping and fishing. The food in the cafe is excellent and a good variety of drinks in the bar. Friday and Saturday nights is great for rock and roll bingo in the marquee with a variety of different acts too.

Me and my partner simply love this place. We first came in June 2014, and come at least twice a month now. Its magical lakeside view when we were camping was breathtaking, and it has amazing surroundings. Seriously people, try this place and you wont be disappointed. Clean, spacious, and the Marquee where the bar is situated is lovely. Number one campsite to us...... Shaun and Suzanne

24 hours on the specimen lake, great facilities. Staff were great, couldn't be any more helpful and polite. One of the cleanest fisheries I have ever been on not a single rat in site!! Will definitely be returning

Recently had 4 separate camping trips here, with friends and family, from 4 to roughly 20 odd people of all ages, cracking place to stay and the cafe serves top grub. There is a bar in the entertainment marquee which has excellent staff.

Very good service and just the best sausage bap. Good hearty food, which after three hours on our bicycle is what we wanted.

Lovely place, although your not too far from civilisation, when your there you feel a miles away from anywhere. Just a note if you stay in a pod u need to bring everything with including extra padding for sleeping on the benches.

when I arrived john the manager was very welcoming, after struggling for an hour with my tent, I asked him for help and he put it up in record time, the nxt morning we had a full cooked breakfast in the café and it was delicious, Paul and Sarah were lovely, and even let us put our beers in there freezer. the camp site and lakes were stunning, I cant remember the mans name in the fishing shop but he was awesome, not only did he put together my boys fishing rods, but then took them to the lake and showed then step by step how to fish, honestly he was there with them on and off all day. yes the toilets could do with a good clean so nxt time I will take my cleaning products and give them a good do lol. extremely happy with our stay and all the friendly staff

Mark Burrows enjoyed a succulent Club Sanwich style BLT, whilst cycling with the Wirral Cycling Group, on a 🌞 sunny shortest day of the year.
