Wonderfully location, stunning interior and , scenic views surrounding.

The staff were attentive and helpful. The food was lovely, I had one minor complaint regarding something I requested that was not placed on my meal but when I mentioned it to the staff it was dealt with efficiently and rectified.

This is a lovely pub and restaurant where you would feel comfortable taking family, colleagues or even a date.

Absolutely sensational food. Best Gluten free menu I have ever seen.

Hands down I will be making this a regular thing.

Lovely place, beautiful outside area (perfect for a warmer day I’m sure) and the inside is just as nice. The food was really good, 4 x Sunday Roast and all variations were spot on. Service excellent - friendly and professional. The 4 star for food was only because the ice cream desert didn’t have any wafer or biscotti or anything. Just scoops of (excellent) ice cream (a minor point and TBH not an issue, more an observation) Would we return? Most definitely 💯

Great outdoor dining with top service. Food good. Huge and very comfortable pub ,lots of real fires, good beers. Huge pool with geese and ducks for a great place to sit for summer drinks. Fantastic history too!

What a place, we went here for a belated birthday meal, and I'm so glad we did. First-time visitors and it won't be our last. 3 of us went for the roast, and the other sausage and mash, but before we devoured them, it was starters. Crispy squid and sautéed wild mushrooms, delicious. Followed up with a dessert, toasted waffle, Nutella filled doughnuts, and a Toffee apple tart. Service was superb, considering it was busy, the food came quick and hot, and it was always served with a smile. All in all, a fantastic meal. TOP NOTCH

We attended here for a family member's birthday. They had been previously and had wanted to return for celebrations. The service was friendly and attentive. Food was lovely and the starter and mains were hot and fresh. Pudding was great too. Would happily recommend and return. The outside area is very nice. Overall a great place.

Lovely charming pub. Large capacity bit stil seems very cosy. Food was the best I've had in some time. Will be revisting soon :)

The Oakley Arms is a Great Pub/Restaurant to visit with family and friends. The food, in my opinion, is great. We had the braised lamb shoulder, Beer Battered Fish and Chips and ths Smoked haddock fishcake (all highly recommend). Everything was cooked perfectly. We also had the Triple Chocolate Brownie with a cappuccino, sticky toffy pudding and vanilla sponge syrup.
The service was quick and ecellent. The staff are very friendly.

I highly recommend this pub.

Lunch there yesterday with three friends. Wonderful food, soothing and relaxing location and I had my usual tasty crispy beef salad which never fails me. Everyone enjoyed their lunch and the service as usual was first class. Back soon hopefully.

Amazing, both food and atmosphere.

It was lovely to get our family together at The Oakley Arms. It was recommended by a family friend. On arrival, the car park, buildings and gardens were well presented and beautifully landscaped, and the interior of the pub lived up to the high standards outside. We had a really warm welcome from the lovely barman (sorry, not sure of his name), who chatted to everyone in our party including the children. Our server was also friendly, attentive and did well to cope with a large party with lots of catching up to do and multiple requests. The food was gorgeous. My sister and brother and their families live relatively nearby and have already said they would come back. We live about 100 miles away and the only thing that we would suggest as an improvement to this lovely place would be to offer some accommodation as we would certainly stay. You should be so proud of this pub and its wonderful staff. Thanks for a great afternoon!

So glad to find this gem of a pub.
Beautiful little lake at the rear with terrace that looks like it would be perfect for a warm summers evening.
The pub itself is a very good size, so don't be put off if the car park has loads of cars...there will most likely be plenty of room inside.
All the staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful.
Food is as good as it looks and I would love to try more at a later date, along with more of the extensive range of beers and wines.

The only downside is that I live more than 100 miles away, but if ever in that neck of the woods again will certainly make a B line for it.

I had an absolutely wonderful time for my 40th birthday. I'd been looking at a number of venues and when I popped in a few weeks before, the lady at the bar made me feel confident we would be looked after. I wasn't wrong.The setting, the food and the room were all perfect. Charlotte looked after us really well. It was the perfect day. Thank you!

What a beautiful, cosy, friendly, place with amazing food.
The katsu curry is the best I've ever had. The coffee is excellent too.
The staff are fantastic, the food and drink choices superb, and the whole place encourages you to stay and relax.
Overall a wonderful example of the kind of pub Britain does best.

A great place for Sunday lunch. Always a great atmosphere, busy bar and dining. Great fish and chips.

Drove past last week but had already eaten so came today and wow the place is beautiful and food was just as good, staff were brilliant especially the 2 gentleman running the bar area for lunch, wish I lived closer i would love to work in a place like this!

My husband and I visited again yesterday evening and it's about time we did a review! Our meal (3 courses) was delicious: some surprise, but delicious ingredients - congrats to the chef. All staff were friendly and efficient: thanks to Alicia, Blake, Charlotte and Jack, and always to Beth who was off duty last night. We do rate Brunning and Price restaurants, but The Oakley is our local so is of course the best! Thank you.

Lovely evening at the Oakley arms. Very nice food and perfect place to celebrate something if you want something a bit nicer but also relaxed. Dog friendly as well.

Had a lovely meal sat outside by the water. Portions were excellent. The staff were very helpful and the food was delicious. Would definitely visit again.
