Duck Bay Hotel & Restaurant

Used the bobby's bistro. Just a lovely lovely place to eat drink and be merry. Excellent wheel chair user access and disabled blue badge holder parking. The food ordered was very nice tasty and value for money is great.

I LOVE this restaurant! I had the best cooked breakfast there (and I am very fussy!). It was beautifully decorated for autumn and we got a lovely view over the loch.

The food was piping hot and the coffee is strong. They offer alternative milk and gluten free options.

I cannot praise this place enough.

Gave us a fantastic afternoon for my deaf cousins birthday party. Scenery and location couldn't have been better and we were given the table with what was probably the best view in the restaurant. Staff were so friendly and helpful and food was delicious.

This place is getting unfavorable reviews due to their inept restaurant staff (for dinner). The rooms were well appointed, in a fantastic setting, and the hotel staff were kind and accommodating. Honestly, this place is gorgeous! The restaurant staff for breakfast (Windows on the Loch) were attentive and fantastic. The dinner restaurant is a completely different story. Super slow service and inattentive staff despite seeming to be well staffed. So if you come to Duck Bay for only the dinner portion, I’m sorry to say, you’ll be disappointed with the service. The food was good, but the service was awful. I would recommend this place as a vacation/holiday destination, I’m just not sure I would willingly have dinner here again. We considered cancelling our accommodations after reading several poor reviews in the past several months but we’re happy we didn’t. The hotel side of Duck Bay is perfect! Please ignore the folks giving this place bad reviews due to them only having dinner here.

Just back from an overnight stay my boyfriend booked for my Birthday.
We stayed in suite 1 and Wow what a room!!
Absolutely stunning views of the loch and hills. Wow factor when you enter the room. The room is also very spacious and was spotless!!
We went for dinner and the food was 10/10 as well as quick service and friendly attentive staff.
Breakfast was included with the room. You can help yourself to the pastries, toast, jams, fruit etc and order the hot food from a server.
I will be back again and 100% booking suite 1 again. Stunning.

Cracking wee place the afternoon tea was realy nice. The price isint to bad either. The bar next door is nice aswell with the feather wall fireplace and the food was brilliant. The steak pie is perfect. I highly recommended this place

We had a really great meal here tonight. Atmosphere was buzzing as the place was very full and the food was excellent. Service was a little bit random at times but the quality of the food really made up for it. Would definitely come again.

The food is absolutely unbelievable. The service is super friendly and really fast. I will definitely be back. Great place for a special occasion. Lovely views and beautiful interior.

Breakfast was lovely. Lovely clean resturant with beautiful setting. Staff was very polite and service was top notch.

We were seated at a large booth round table and given menus. (Menus smelled like body oder).
Good choice of foods on the menu, food and drinks arrived in good time and there were no complaints from any of us.
It got busy in the restaurant around 2pm and I had to go up to the host stand to get someone to take my payment after waiting for 15 minutes at the table with the bill.
All in all, would recommend.

Fantastic from the moment we arrived. I had booked for my partners birthday. Room was fantastic spotlessly clean. Staff were so polite and helpful. Booked a evening meal was beautiful the staff especially Kieran were so attentive. Highly recommend and will definitely go back.

The waiting on staff were polite..helpful and extremely hot on reading the room when requests were made...so much so i reckon they could read minds..only had to look their way once ...attended table straightaway.

An experience of luxury. The resturants decor, service and food is top tier. Truly a wonderful experience. Gluten free menu. Large garden space opposite the restaurant with benches for dogs. Absolutely worth stopping. So peaceful on the water. It's a picturesque place. Better to book a table in advance as they are very popular However they do take walk ins.

Outside seated area next to the water which is dog friend and can have drinks and boxed sandwiches served.

Breakfast starts at 9am.

Wonderful attention to detail in the decor. They do such creative festival decor.

We were lucky with our weather and our view during our meal was fantastic.
Food was good however staff were excellent, attentive and very helpful. Best staff I've had in a long time. Well done guys

Stayed here as a surprise for my big birthday. I was not disappointed. Our room no 26 was absolutely fantastic! Fabulous views over the Loch (ashame about the weather but can't have it all) the best hotel shower I've ever tried it was wonderful. We had our evening meal here at the restaurant- the staff were absolutely wonderful, polite and friendly I could not say one bad thing about the service we received. I only wish I had their names as they are a credit to the hotel. To be fair, from checking in we had excellent service from all staff. The food was of excellent quality, the best soup I have ever tasted and we thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere and setting of the room, tbe view was amazing. I think breakfast was a little let down as no yoghurts were available, but the amazing room and views over the Loch made up for this. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and without a doubt will return! Thank you 😊

Stunning, great atmosphere and food. Location is superb, 30 minutes from Glasgow centre. Sits on edge of Loch Lomond. A great find

Poped in here fr breakfast on our way to Glasgow absolutely blown away by the breakfast, been a chef myself it was soo nice to see a fellow chef cooking with love ,many thanks and we can't wait to be back for dinner in the future, keep up the great wk chefs well done 👩‍🍳👍👩‍🍳

Seriously good quality food, especially considering they have loads of tables, were fully booked and the whole experience was seamless and really enjoyable.
Definitely recommend eating here.
