The Inn on Loch Lomond

My friend Esteban and I ventured all the way from London to experience the renowned culinary offerings at The Inn on Loch Lomond, and we were absolutely thrilled that our expectations were not only met but exceeded.

From the moment we stepped foot into the restaurant, we were greeted from the manager with warmth and hospitality that set the tone for the evening. The ambiance was cozy, with a picturesque view of Loch Lomond adding to the charm.

Now, onto the main event - the food. We indulged in the chicken curry and fish cake, and both dishes were nothing short of impeccable. The flavors were expertly balanced, and each bite was a delightful journey for our taste buds. It's evident that the chefs here have a passion for their craft, as every dish was executed flawlessly.
The wine selection was exceptional, complementing our meal perfectly and adding to the overall enjoyment of the evening.

However, what truly made our dining experience memorable was the personal touch from the lady chef herself. Not only did she prepare outstanding dishes, but she also took the time to sit at our table and engage in conversation. Her genuine warmth and hospitality made us feel like cherished guests, and we couldn't help but fall in love with her and her culinary expertise.

Overall, our evening at The Inn on Loch Lomond was nothing short of spectacular. From the exceptional food to the heartfelt hospitality, every aspect of our dining experience was top-notch. We have just got back from a two night stay. The location is perfect, you are able to use it as a great base to go off and explore. Stunning views, all the staff were so lovely. The food was exceptional and on some nights there is a live singer creating a great atmosphere. Definitely would recommend.

Had lunch today we couldn't fault it at all. The service was superb, our server was so attentive, friendly and had a good sense of humour. The food was delicious and portion sizes really good even for the ones with a big appetite! Bathroom was spotless and well supplied. I would certainly recommend this venue. Well done to the staff

I recently stayed at the inn on Loch Lomond for a dinner, bed, and breakfast experience, and I would like to share my positive experience. The hotel's location is stunning, offering beautiful views of Loch Lomond and Ben Lomond. Initially, we faced challenges reaching them by phone, but the staff proved very helpful when contacted via email. I noticed on their Facebook page that they acknowledged and apologized for the inconvenience during a busy period.

Upon arrival, the hotel reception was well-manned, and all the staff were polite. The rooms were spacious, well-presented, and we opted to upgrade from our voucher for an additional £30, providing us with breathtaking views. The dinner included two courses, and we found the food delicious. Some items had supplements, but the drinks were reasonably priced.

Breakfast was equally enjoyable, offering options from a cooked menu and continental breakfast. Additionally, there are scenic walks under the road leading to Loch Lomond. Overall, our experience was delightful, and I appreciate the professionalism of the staff and the beauty of the surroundings. It's a place I would recommend for a peaceful and enjoyable stay
It is worth noting that this hotel is dog friendly and we hope to visit again with our dog as is was truly dog friendly allowing dog owners to still enjoy the hotel when visiting with there furry family with dog friendly rooms and areas of the restaurant and bar open for there furry K9 visitors.

We had a lovely romantic over night stay at the Inn on Loch Lomond.
First of the views of the Loch are stunning.
The online check in before arrival was a good feature.
We arrived early and had a nice drink in the bar area, i received an email with room details and they let us in to room over an hour early as it was ready.
The rooms are spotless with all the amenities you would expect or require including hair dryer iron kettle teas and coffee.
The evening meal was lovely we had a sirloin steak and steak pie both presentation and quality was good.
Cocktails are nice and great selection of malts and other drinks on offer.
Evening live music on the Saturday night was great singer with guitar.
All the staff pleasant and helpful.

All round a great over night at a superb hotel our second visit here and will be back again

We were gifted a 2 nigh stay with dinner bed and breakfast for the Inn. Upon booking we upgraded to a deluxe room with a loch view. Unfortunately the loch view was non existent as we were on the ground floor. There were a couple of minor issues with the room, which didn't detract from our stay, the bathroom was huge and immaculate. Service within the main building was excellent at all times and the choice of food was pretty ok.

Amazing atmosphere… rooms were immaculate…. Staff were so helpful from the reception desk to the restaurant and the bar …. We went for a mother daughter night and I’ll honestly say we will definitely be back … the attitude of the whole place is friendly and relaxing … the chef was amazing also food was outstanding … the waiter and waitress that served me and my daughter last night were so lovely … and the guys who served breakfast this morning was such a lovely bubbly person … thanks so much guys … well needed break away I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas xx

I had a lovely couple of days here. I enjoyed the walks and especially the singer at dinner time. All staff were kind and helpful.

Rooms are spotless, the view over the loch is beautiful, the staff can’t do enough. Good food, good drinks, top pint of Guinness!

My husband and I had lunch here and wow, the food was absolutely amazing.
The cullen skink was one of the best I've ever had. The butter chicken was tasty and nicely presented. The sticky toffee pudding was sublime.
The service was speedy and, the staff were all extremely helpful and friendly.
The view was stunning, sitting outdoors in the summer would be fantastic - we didn't get to enjoy the view too much because of the early winter nights.
We will absolutely be back and I would recommend it to anyone.

Gorgeous location overlooking the loch, with plenty of parking. Stopped for lunch - really good selection and enjoyed everything. Staff were great - so friendly and helpful.

What a wonderful overnight had by my partner and I. From start to finish everything was perfect.
Friendly welcome at checkin from the host/receptionist. The room was spotless with a great lochside view. It was warm, cozy and spacious.

Dinner was perfect, and the food was amazing. The kitchen team were able to to adapt a main course for my partners allergies (thank you again). We had a lovely evening playing games and enjoying the musician playing that evening. The entertainment was a very nice touch. He had everyone up dancing by the end of the night. 11/10 for guest experience!!

Breakfast was calm and well managed by the staff and we were well looked after. Great selection of hot and cold food.

Bubbly and friendly staff on checkout too. Rounding off the end of a wonderful stay.

Couldn't fault a thing, will absolutely be back.

Stayed a couple of nights.
Very very comfortable and very very good food.
The only problem was the creaky floorboards outside and inside the rooms. This was most annoying early in the morning or late at night with people passing bye

We chose this hotel to break up our journey to Scotland from the Midlands. I found the staff very friendly and helpful, the food in the restaurant and breakfast excellent and our room ( executive double) was warm and comfortable. In the evening, there was entertainment from a singer in the bar area, also a good selection of Gins and Whiskey!

Nice large room. Food was lovely, with the Cullen Skink absolutely delicious. Picturesque scenery. Hotel was let down by there being very little seating to enjoy an after meal drink.

Fab stay! Fairly basic rooms but clean comfortable & great shower. Food was delicious, staff very friendly. Live music was a bonus. Great base for exploring the area highly recommend

40 years ago, I had a beer here when it was called the Inverbeg Hotel. The decor has been majorly improved. Beautiful bar and restaurant.
