Blue Lagoon Fish & Chips (Balloch)

People, bring your appetites! I had the "fish tea", with two pieces of fish, and added mushy peas. It was a lot! It was also superbly good. The only very minor negative was the wait between my drink arriving & the food. It was half drunk & quite cool by the time the food appeared. Apart from that everything was excellent 👍🏼😋 & I wouldn't hesitate to recommend 🍽
The other person is right too, the plastic tea mug was a little odd 🤔

2110hrs on New Year’s Eve. No fish and chips were ready but I was in no rush. You said about 15min. You may recall I sat in the car with my dogs to keep them from getting upset, and asked you to wave when it was ready.
I don’t know if it was just because it was freshly made as I waited but whatever, best fish supper I have had for years. Absolutely ace, and I don’t usually post reviews. Thank you.

Beautiful place near loch lomond, we order gluten free batter fish it’s soooo delicious, light, and crispy. The chips come fresh, the mac and cheese also tasty. The place is so clean and the service is good 👍🏻

Well let me tell ya . Great grandma was not wrong about these chippies I’ll tell ya what.
Large and in charge halibut with the best damn breading I’ve had on some good ol chippies. But the tartar sauce here was really one of the biggest and brightest shining stars . I loved my time even tho lady did find bones ..

Great restaurant for friends and family. Singles too. Server Mariia was very courteous and friendly. She made sure we were served halal food. Speaking of food the fish and chips were delicious with the refreshing Iron bru drink. Definitely will recommend to a friend while visiting the lock lommond.

Lovely clean fish and chip shop, first class service, food freshly cooked, fish so fresh it was crumbling on the plate. I'll be back in a few weeks.

What a nice place but the most important is the delicious fish and chips and calamari rings for a fair price! Very tasty, thin and crunchy batter and very fresh fish was used for both!
I immediately saved to favourites on Google and we will be back once we around here!

Last time here with my son was about 25 years ago,came back with the missus and yes its still as i remember it,food was great ,old school chips the way they should be and 4oz burger,missus had fish both good ,waitress was young girl,excellent service and good manners,very polite.

Can place this in the top 3 best fish and chip meals I've ever eaten. Great chips, excellent crispy batter, not greasy, and perfect mushy peas. In addition to being greeted with a friendly welcome the premises are very clean and tidy. My waitress Mariia was so smiley and bonnie I almost fell off my chair !

There is free parking over the road, there is gluten free batter option if needed. I stopped here en route for work after a long drive. Glad I did, the food was top quality fish and chips and the staff very nice people.

I drink a coffee and ate a cake, but the service was excellent, cheap, high quality and the people was super nice. You can pay with cash or card.

Great scampi and chips. Non greasy. Lovely side salad and generous portion of tartar sauce.

Amazing quality fish and chips, restaurant has a lovely theme and is decorated lovely. Our server was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Portions were huge we couldn't finish even thought it was so delicious. Highly recommend and would 100% come back next time we are in the area!

A really great meal! We’re traveling and Rowan took the time to make suggestions and was genuinely interested in how our trip has been so far. The food hit the spot and was perfect for a full day of walking. Couldn’t have been better lunch.

Fish and chips were great, definitely the highlight of a very wet day in Balloch! Comfortable atmosphere, made the more so by the friendly and attentive Mariia (who mysteriously knew that the mars bar dish was exactly what I needed!)

Gluten free fish and chips, absolutely gorgeous, to die for, cooked to perfection. Service, great. So friendly. But the bad bit- the coffee, Absolutely rotten. -Worst coffee I've ever had in my life. And it's not a one off, I remember being in for a sit down meal about a year back and it was was vile then. I would give this great fish restaurant 10 stars, if they'd only buy a decent coffee maker. So 🙏 please.!!

Had Haddock with Brown Bread Crumbs. Very fresh... and they have separate fryers .. Good for people who want to eat Halal food.
