Village Gym Maidstone

I had a personal session with Lee and although I was sceptical at first, he reassured me and changed my mind. I tend to stick to the classes because I feel intimidated by the gym floor. He explained all the equipment I would be using and most importantly asked how I was! We had a really informal session that really put me at ease. He was extremely helpful and encouraging by showing me the correct techniques and explaining breathing techniques too. I absolutely loved his boxing pads session, well I loved it all actually, and would highly recommend him. I cannot wait to introduce my friends to his sessions. Not only was his session great, he was really friendly and cheerful.

Club rooms are to die for, but there is one small point that spoils it. The water pressure in the shower. When the handset is turned upside-down, the water stops.
Apart from that, the whole experience of the Village Hotel, is second to none in its price bracket.

Love coming to the gym here. Very clean gym and swimming pool, very helpful staff. Large carport that's easily accessible. Great high tech equipment. Fabulous gym and swimming pool, worth the money.

I recently joined this gym after training in several independent places. This is by far the best gym in Kent. The staff are always so friendly, welcoming and kind. The sales team were brilliant when signing me up. My trainings really elevated to the next stage. I couldn’t recommend this place more. Get yourselves down here!

I have just joined the gym.

Sophie showed me around. The smile on this ladies face just tells you all you need to know about environment. She kept smiling all the way trough. The space looked clean. The equipment is new and great quality.
The reason I signed up was Sophie’s smile and her attitude. If the person takes their job with such a love, and happiness involved, keeping their smile all the time… tells you a lot about the actual environment.

Over the years I’ve been a member of Loyds gym in London and some other posh gym in central london, trust me I have seen it all. This gym is aesthetically nice, well organised, clean, well spaced, and uses same equipment as the most expensive gyms in the country. Also priced adequately. Staff looks friendly. On top of being a member you get a great benefits too. Oh and the pool area. So in other gyms the atmosphere is cold, here it’s hot steaming hot. The only reason I hated swimming in the pool I used to get cold. Here the temperature is kept just right so you can swim and enjoy your self properly. Apparently they do not switch on conditioning system in the pool are this is why it’s so warm and nice.

I wanted to give a shout out to Paula the manager. She showed me great compassion in times of difficulty. Also, the gum and pool staff are first class!! Thank You Paula.

Lovely warm long swimming pool. A well equipped Gym. Also lots of classes. Also members get lots of perks, monthly wine club and coffee mornings.

Like every other village gym, all the staff are very friendly and helpful. The customer service at the village gym far exceeds all other places I've been to. All the facilities were tidy and clean.

Recently joined this gym and I am very impressed. The staff are always very polite and make me feel very welcoming and comfortable. I find gyms quite daunting so i explained this in my tour and the membership team who took me round made me feel really comfortable and more relaxed when coming to the gym. The swimming pool is newly refurbished with a jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. Really impressed and highly recommend

I've been really enjoying all the different classes - there's something for everyone, excellent supportive instructors and great facilities. One of the best gyms in Kent for price quality ratio.

Plenty of class available across the day, free parking and lovely shower after workout. The village gym staff all helpful and friendly.

Just attended the “young at heart functional fitness “ circuit class led by Lee Pointer. What a brilliant class great workout for is over 60 somethings. Come on village gym we need this brilliant class every week.

Excellent gym and staff always friendly and helpful. Trained her for a good few years and would recommend to anyone wanting a friendly relaxed atmosphere. PT’s are always on hand to assist if needed.

I use the gym and pool most days and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. There is always someone to ask regarding gym equipment and general heath amd nutrition. Fellow gym goers and swimmers friendly eith a great atmosphere there all the time

Just been in the Village gym at Maidstone and wanted to share my experience.
In this environment, it's all very tricky to know what you're going to get. I looked at the equipment in the gym on my way to the 9.30am spin class. The layout is great. It's clean, plenty of accessible equipment and a wide range of exercises to choose from.
The real reason for my review is the excellent spin class by Karen Mead on the Thursday morning session. No gentle coaxing back to monotone spin grind…No! Just but banging tunes, high tempo and high energy exercise class which makes you smile from beginning to end. Karen was knowledgeable, informative, clear in her directions but above all...relentless!
I can't recommend her class highly enough. It's a great workout, which makes you feel like you've really left those winter blues behind!
Well done Karen and well done to the Village Maidstone for getting an excellent instructor to bring the class along with her. Awesome!

Joe was outstanding. I’m travelling for work and wished to swim using my multi gym access. No hassle, no issues, great service and he’s credit to the Village Team.
