Perfect place to enjoy a great meal. Fresh products and great service.

A restaurant that can only be described using the superlative, regarding all of its aspects! The absolutely excellent food is what determined me to spend my vacation days in Normandy once again, and I I think that says a lot! The menu is diverse, varying from chicken, duck, beef and fish to all kinds of savory seafood! Everything is fresh and cooked at a perfect pace, so that you don't wait too long for your food; the portions are friendly and stuffing; the plating is on point; you can work up an appetite by simply looking at the dishes! There are also starter plates, salads, desserts, drinks; basically everything that you could want. The service is on a Speedy Gonzales level; very fast! The hosts are incredibly welcoming and friendly, treating their customers with warmth and professionalism. There are two terraces: one of them is covered, whilst the other is in open air with a view of the sea. The are approximately 100 seats available for those clients that can appreciate amazing food, an exceptional personnel and a welcoming atmosphere. Reservations are required, and to me, that seems absolutely fitting! I am certain I shall return again and again, because such a thing is not to be missed!

What a nice place to stop. Surrounded by locals that are kind of regular at the restaurant. We couldn't ask for more for lunch. Don't look at the menu and ask for the menu of the day. You are not going to regret it. The stake was perfectly cooked but is another kind of meat that you might buy gor yourself to bbq. In general the staff was super friendly and did their best to communicate with us, the foreigners. Highly recommend it if you are in the area

Long story short, all tables were booked but they had us anyways.

Awesome place will definetely visit again

Last night i went to see the historical Normandy beach and i got myself in trouble. I got stuck in sand. The owner, gentleman took care of it and called the authorities to inform them and said in the morning we would get you help. I was in a rush so i definitely needed it. Not they helped me in the morning, they gave me drinks and offered me food. I will never forget this experience and hospitality of this beautiful people. And of course, sleeping on the Normandy beach stucked in the sand.

It was delicious! A really yummy cappuccino, an incredible crême brulée and the main courses were fabulous as well!

Called for lunch by chance, called again for dinner and returned for a third time with our family for Sunday Lunch. We ate well, the food was excellent, the service impeccable, there were six adults and two babies from eight months to 19 months old, I wish we could find somewhere as good and frendly in UK. Don't hesitate to visit the lovely establishmen

Amazing food great value and amazing service, staff are attentive friendly and ask which language you wantq to order in, even though my French is fairly terrible they took the time and smiled a lot. Loved it nice view of Gold beach close to it too. Fully recommend.

Super restaurant with very friendly hosts. Great food and very accommodating even though we arrived rather sandy and with our dog. We'd definitely visit again.

Happened on this place just driving around the area. We stopped just across the road to watch a hot air balloon take off, and after it was aloft we looked around and saw La Barak'a and thought it might be time for some dinner. I spoke with a local woman who assured me I had stumbled on the right place, and she was correct. Unpretentious, excellent food and service and the owners are very friendly. Will definitely go back. Reasonable prices.

Awesome place to eat! Fresh oysters and seafood, kid's menue and a 3 course Lunch for 25€ (Dinner only saturdays).
