Hôtel - Le - Mulberry

What lovely staff! We stayed here with our 2 teenagers, and my daughter is learning French. Pamela was kind enough to let my daughter and I stumble through our French a learned a lot as we had conversations with her each morning. The breakfast was good, and it’s a great central location to all the WW2 beaches to visit. All of our sightseeing could be done within a half an hour drive in all directions, including William the Conquerer’s Abby. We were in the top room, and this is a church bell that rings every hour on the hour from 7 am until 10pm. The teens were able to sleep through the 7am, but if you’re a super light sleeper or don’t want to get up at 7am, choose a different room not on the top floor.

The owner of the hotel was very Friendly A nice guy and warm welcome too the room is in the middle of the town and five minutes from the beach .

The Restaurant is excellent in all aspects. I've been here three times and I've always been very well attended. It is close to the Landing Museum and has wonderful cuisine and an excellent wine list. Great place to have a happy and satisfied lunch. Congratulations to the owners and employees of the restaurant. Come and see!

Fantastic little hotel. Under recent new management from what we learned. The new owners were really friendly and super attentive. The room was excellent, clean, spacious and up to date.

The bar / reception has life size D Day models in army clothing. We had come to experience the D Day history of the area so this went down well with our kids.

We only had breakfast in the restaurant but it was great and so much better then the on-the-road B&B Hotel, packaged croissants and powdered coffee petit déjeuners we’d suffered the previous few days. It was home made and fresh and we could eat as much as we wanted.

This little family-oriented gem of a hotel may not be sea front but it’s only two mins from the beach and well worth booking if you are passing through.

Only visited for dinner but the pizza, beer and service was first rate. The host was helpful, informative and efficient.

Went in for a meal here in the evening. We had a fantastic meal with drinks and mostly went for the salad options which were delicious.

The food was lovely and the owner very friendly and helpful. Reasonably priced too. Big portions and the cheesecake was delicious.

It's a rough diamond. We drove to the coast from Paris and just happened to be lucky to find availability. The local feel along with the excellent classic dinner was the best memory of our trip. . It's not a four star hotel, but it does have five star service.

Comfortable, clean rooms in a beautiful building, in a wonderful beach town full of interesting history. Best breakfast of the 4 hotels of our Normandy stay; you have to love a place with good coffee.

A must go if you want pizza and you are in Arromanches les Bains. It is also a hotel. The photos on google are not up to date! The interior has been updated. We would definitely visit again

Touring the DDay Beaches? Wondering Where to Stay in Arromanches?
We did a lot of research before deciding where to launch our family's tour of the DDay Beaches. There were other options right on the water, which has its appeal, but hands down this proved to be what we'd hoped for in terms of local welcome and warmth. The hotel is immaculately kept with pride by a wonderful family committed to every detail. The rooms are simple, extremely clean and newly redone. Lovely starched linens and new, comfortable beds. Very accommodating of families/children.

As for the meals, we were demi-pension, thus had both dinner and breakfast. Sophie, who co-runs the hotel with her husband, takes pride in every detail -- from the table settings to each of the generous courses. Her offerings are creative, delicious and purchased fresh based on the market daily. Enjoy the warm reception area and dining, where the proprietors will dote on you!

This was the perfect point of departure for our tour (quick walk to the local DDay museum and impressive Arromanches coast, where an unbelievable artificial harbor was created by allied forces following their June 6th invasion ...). Enjoy!

We stayed in the hotel for two nights the room was lovelly and bright we eat in the restaurant and had a lovelly steak and chips the staff were very friendly we had a lovelly breakfast. and the beach was very pretty and had a lovelly cider outside in the sun we will return again soon.

The hotel room is one of the cleanest i've ever been to, the restaurant food is delish, the staff is just too sweet. I would 100% come back here anytime!

My friends and i were staying just up the road. We were made very welcome and a very relaxed meal. The food was fantastic from start to finish. Service was equally matched.

Very pleasurable stay at the mulberry hotel. The staff where great and very helpful, the room was clean and just right for our stay. We would definitely stay here again.
