Honestly I’m befuddled by the low rating. I’m glad I just went without checking the score first. I had a delightful experience here. The food was top notch and unexpectedly gourmet considering the small village. The location is super quaint and the service quick. Finally the price of around 30 euros for a filling menu is definitely fair.

It doesn’t have the best reviews just because it’s right in the most center and beautiful place of St.Emilion, so lot of snob people would expect more. I ate there around 6 times already and i can say they are always good, the food it’s great for such a poupular price, and.. it’s right in the most center and beautiful square of St.Emilion!

We were wary due to reviews but we loved it - a bottle of Cremant at the tables outside soaking up the beautiful surroundings, then inside. The prawn pasta with pesto and smoked cheese was delicious. The steak was good. The duck confit was delicious - although the apricot sauce was a bit too sweet for this dish. The macaron desert was delicious and big enough for 3 of us to share

We have had breakfast as well as drinks. Service has been friendly and helpful.. in fact just wonderful.. we are in a beautiful part of the world as a tourist and treated perfectly. What a great place to while away a couple of hours watching the world go by.

Well we had excellent service, lovely food and the wines were local and tasty. Price was a little high but it is a tourist village so...
A great place for a leisurely lunch in the sun or under the tree.

Food and location are both amazing. They did not want us to sit down in the restaurant but in the bar area. Although we explained we would like to eat. But at the end we got a table. It was not busy at all, so we did not understand the arrogant attitude. Thanks God we stayed as my meal was exceptional. I had leek and parsnip fondue for a starter and some lentils with sausage and bacon. Both meals were extremely tasty and beautiful.

Saint Emilion is an absolutely gorgeous little town, yes famous for its wines.

What’s not to love when “in heaven” referring to that famous say “in heaven, mechanics…, the police…, the lovers… and the chefs are French”, that’s exactly how I felt this morning having breakfast here at Amelia Canta❤

At 10am ish arrived and chose a table in the shade, the waiter came immediately and I ordered my cappuccino which came quickly foamy and rather strong just the way I love!

Later chose “Le complet” under Le petit dejeuner section
- Le croissant- the proper French one warm so delicious crunchy
- The hot chocolate again foamy and special
- The jus d’orange natural and fresh
- But the jambon frontage omelette-oohlala melting in your mouth the French way

Just a simple breakfast experience reflecting the entire feel of experiencing South of france hospitality 😍❤🤩 totally recommend- and use the experience to train your French! Bon jour! Mercy beaucoup Amelia Canta! Au revoir! Je reviens bientot!

The service is amazing! Really friendly staffs! 💓 Food is really fresh and delicious, especially the salad! We had ducks and that was superb! Will definitely go back again if we get the chance!

The staff was extremely friendly and fast, the atmosphere was cozy with the old stone walls, and the food was very delicious. I can highly recommend this restaurant. I don’t know why it has so many bad reviews. Probably from the very crowded peak season when waiting times are a bit longer.

A great outside experience in St. Emilion, with a great view of Place de Clochers, surrounded by wineries. We had a great waiter as well as food, and were surrounded by a happy atmosphere.
I can highly recommend the burger- Amelia cheese Burger-my best in France.

A truly wonderful place to spend a couple of hours under the shade of the sun for lunch. Sit and watch the world go by while enjoying great food (and obviously wine 🍷) picture postcard setting. Highly recommended.

Excellent place for a good quality/ price lunch. We saw their menu on our way to visit the church and straight away made a reservation for lunch. The service was well choregraphed . We loved the food. The waiters were extremely busy but stayed professionnel and pleasant throughout.

Superb food, and terrific service on a hot day from the staff. Looked great, tasted better. 13 Yr old says was soooo much better than a McDs

Beautifully situated at St Emilion one of the best places to visit.. Food is very tasty, wine is best and dessert also is a great option.
A must visit and must try.
