An incredible spot for a lunch date in a magical town of Saint-Emilion.

The cuisine, the presentation, the service and the atmosphere are fabulous.

Every dish is impeccably presented, the portions are large and absolutely delicious to the smallest detail.

Never ever miss out on the dessert too.

I do not need to mention, but the wine selection is also, of course!, very good. The restaurant does a good job of offering wine by the glass in various price ranges, so everyone will find something affordable.

Great for a taste of the local gastronomy. Service is fast, if you are running late for your next wine tasting.

A casual but elegant restaurant with authentic cuisine and a serious wine list.
The Veal liver was a highlight of our lunch, I never tried it cooked this way and it was amazing with very rich mashed potatoes. It was enough to feed two.
The freshest burratta with tomatoes had a delicious berry sauce and pesto added.
There is a lot of seating and we got a place for 4 for lunch by walk in.
However, note that their kitchen closes after 3 until dinner time.

Very nice meal. We went for the tartar. Our friends the steak.
Both very happy.
Wine selecting by the waitress was lovely.
Very pretty traditional decor.
Would go back.
Cheese board a bit unexciting.
But soufflé wonderful.

This place will make you want to stomp your foot. I came in very late. I was not in the best way and had a "show me " attitude. This place took the lid off. First of all the staff know what they have here. They know the cuisine. They know the presentation. They know what to showcase and they bring it to you in a way that simply astounds. Often times in heavily touristed areas your trapped into eating whatever they have and paying too much. This is a place I would make detours to come to. Don't worry about what they have it will be good. You will be satisfied and you will adore the way they treat like a long awaited guest. Had to come back twice to make sure and the second visit made me want to plan a third.

An evening to remember. Atmosphere quite vibrant and lively. Service was excellent. Quick and attentive. We had oysters and white wine that went perfectly with them. Oysters were divine. Calf liver and Tartare de boeuf were very good. Suprême de volaille was a bit dry but still delicious with its sauce basquée. Pavlova and chocolate basket were super. We were very satisfied. Prices were a bit high but still good value for money. Thank you for serving good food and taking our reservation nearly last minutes.

Came here three years ago on the recommendation of our hotel and the food was amazing.
Whilst on a tour we decided to bring our daughter and son in law here and they were massively impressed.
Food was amazing and service was impeccable.
Well done everyone, keep doing what you’re doing!!

Beautiful decor and cozy atmosphere.
The service was very efficient, professional and polite.
The food was incredible!
I had the special of the day (cod) and for a dessert the classic crepes Suzette (highly recommend it).
Amazing wine list and selection of aperitifs.
Top places to eat in St-èmilion.

Very elegant place for dinner with great food. Can be expensive depending on the wine you get but totally worth it. Expect to pay 25€-34€ for entrees. My veal chop was excellent. My wife ordered fish that came with saffron rice. All great. Wine list is multiple pages long with bottles in all price ranges. You will need a reservation here. Don't expect to walk in a be seated. Especially on a weekend. You need to send a request through their website and they will respond to you with an available time. One of the top two or three dinners in 6 weeks of travel in Europe. Most elegant spot by far. Enjoy.

The bistro that is opened by the nearby Michelins star restaurant. High quality without the expensive price tag. Service was excellent and staff are friendly. A great wine selection list. They can be very full so booking is highly recommended.

Atmospheric and lively spot for good local food. The decor has a bistro feel and is a popular spot so I’d recommend reserving to avoid disappointment.
The food was excellent with a helpful and attentive waiting staff who explained the different dishes in English as well.
The sommelier was also incredibly helpful in suggesting an appropriate bottle to complement the food, from what seems to be a very extensive local wine cellar.
Highly recommend!

Fabulous dining experience. Great service, great food and plenty of different wines to choose from. The cannelloni starter was superb and the shared lamb to follow was beautifully cooked. We ate outside in the courtyard which was lovely. All very reasonable price for an excellent meal.

L'Envers du Dècor was a recommendation by a friend and it didn't disappoint at all.

We had dinner at L'Envers du Dècor and it was absolut delicious.

The staff was very welcoming and brought us to our table, and I recommend you to sit on the terasse, because it amplifies the feeling of being in Saint-Èmilion.

Subsequently, we ordered a beef filet and a Safran risotto with cod and clams.
It was absolut delicious. The meat and fish were cooked on point and melted like butter.
The dessert was equally as delicous.

However, I would say it's skewed towards higher priced restaurants.
Price level is the same as a Brasserie in Paris, but at least on our visit, the quality of the food was great.
Roughly, I would say 50-60€ without alcohol per person is a fair guesstimate.

Definitely a must if you are in Saint-Èmilon a try and would be happy to visit again.

This was our 3rd visit to L'Envers du Décor and it lived up to our expectations. It was a busy August day in Saint-Émilion and we had booked a table for four. The welcome was pleasant, and we were seated quickly. There were delicious-sounding daily specials on offer, but we (two couples) each opted for the à la carte Shoulder of Lamb for 2. This is a mouth-watering, fragrant, slow-cooked shoulder of lamb to share, cooked to perfection with a mixture of couscous grains and Middle-Eastern style vegetables. Totally delicious, especially when accompanied by a glass of local red wine. Needless to say, both shoulders were devoured in short order. With a bit of an effort, we managed to find room for some scrumptious desserts and spent the afternoon walking off our delightful lunch. Our waitress was a new recruit, and did her job very well, giving us very good service. There are many more items on the menu that we shall return to sample when next we visit Saint-Émilion.

It's a perfect place to have very good meat.
Finally in our stay in Paris we get a good piece of 'solomillo'. Perfectly medium cooked. The champignons sauce was perfectly smoothie and with fresh mushies. Crunchy fries.
Its pricy as any other restaurants in Paris, but you pay for the quality.
We didn't try any dessert cause main courses are perfectly full dishes so we couldn't get more. But they seemed also delicious at other tables.
Nowadays you have to show your QR vaccination to get in.
Service was perfect, we were very happy with how we were treated, we got a Spanish card and the ober who served us was very very nice. If we go back we will for sure go there again
