As a pancake aficionado I can honestly say that they have very good, big and heavy pancakes. I had the one with butter and and maple syrup; pure mouthgasm. Only problem was that there was no view of the water. They also have savory ingredients, but I didn't try any of those.

Very tasty pancakes. They have sweet and salty ones for any hour of the day. Possibility to take aluminium to bring the pancakes back home (which will be useful given they are very filling). Prices are alright but be prepared to wait a little while even if it is not crowded.
Vegan option available.

I had a great time there. Such a great staff and beautiful place. pancakes are great. especially Christmas pancake (Kar­pa­lo-ki­nus­ki-val­ko­suk­laa ) and smoked reindeer. 3 pancake is enough for 4 person.

Great place for pancakes. Probably the best pancakes place in Oulu.

Try the Terwe (tar flavoured) ice cream they've got. It's one of the few places in Oulu where they serve this flavour.

Oven baked pancakes of epic proportions (come in 2 sizes) will fill up up for a while. Highly recommended.

It's in the city center near the market place and Toripoliisi. The most amazing pancakes I have ever tasted (and I'm the type of person who loves to make crêpes and pancakes every morning). They're really well achieved, even the smaller size is huge and you can personalize them as much as you want. My favourite.. nutella, red fruits and mango ice cream.

Very tasty! Big portions (can be made small, if you're not that hungry). Everything can be made vegan or gluten/lactose free

Overall, an amazing visit! The staff was lovely, our pancakes were delivered quickly and tasted delicious. Located in a cute old store house by the seaside and even has a nice little terrace to sit in during the summer. Recommend to anyone visiting Oulu!

Marvellous pancakes, really special!

Delicious pancakes - I think maybe potato, certainly not crepes. Savoury or sweet toppings. They were quite large, we couldn't think of dessert after eating a savory one, which was a pity because they looked excellent too. The toppings are similar to those for pizza. Several vegetarian options, but quite cheese based so nothing vegan. Staff were extremely friendly and we had no trouble communicating despite our lack of Finnish. Seating may be limited inside but outside there was space for all nine of us in the cobbled courtyard.

Good pancakes, friendly atmosphere. You can actually make your own mix of stuff, sweet or salty. Prices really not bad. Almost always full, so worth making a reservation, otherwise you might have to wait at least 40 minutes to get your meal.

I was on exchange at the university of Oulu and got this restaurant from a couple of people recommended. In the end, I've been here for more than once and it was always very delicious. The concept is simple, meaning that you can easily create your own pancake (sweet or salty), but very delicate. Lots of different toppings available. I took very often the nutella with banana and it was very tasty. Water is completely free of charge. The prices are also fine. With a student discount, you can get a cup of tea or coffeee for free. The restaurant itself looks pretty in a woody decoration. The staff is very friendly and polite.

You do not need a separate dessert pancake. Trust me, one is enough. There is no shame in taking the childrens sized ones either.

Nice old building and great place! The salty pancakes are amazing! Such as the sweet ones, however I bet it's not a surprize! ;-)
