Super value. Great options for food.
We were there for lunch, and decided to go for the buffet. Not only was that great value, but it was also very tasty and the quality of everything was great.
The staff were nice and the place was nice and clean. Great overall.

Great burgers 🍔 in a cozy atmosphere. The cafe is in a old house style. A variety of craft beers 🍻 can be founded here. Food came quickly, service fast when I visited. The cafe is popular, so it is recommended to make a reservation for special occasions. The staff friendly. They offer lunch every weekday, includes soup, bread and dessert. Vegetarian options available.

I was in Oulu for 3 nights and I went to Cafe Rooster for every one of them. The first night I ordered a pulled pork burger and it was fantastic. I had checked their website and saw a long list of beers. When I asked for the second one on my list the server said they didn't have it, so it's probably downstairs. I had no idea there was an additional pub downstairs, which had an amazing selection of beers on tap. Thus my need to come back the next two days to continue trying them. I decided to be a little healthier the next days, as I had a goat cheese salad and then a salmon salad. I even went in for lunch one day and had a mozzarella foccacia sandwich and pumpkin spice latte (which was quite the treat). Highly recommend Cafe Rooster for both food and drinks!

Excellent service , food very good. We had the chicken pita and the goats cheese burger. Both super tasty and big portions. We were offered lemon and blueberry water which was lovely . Atmosphere very cosy if a little cold when the front door opened.

We are in town from the US visiting some Finnish relatives and had heard good things about this place, and it did not disappoint. We ate here for dinner but they also have coffee and desserts that looked amazing. I had a burger and it was one of the best burgers I've ever had. Wonderful service, too!

Honestly, the pulled pork is very good.
Nice place to eat with collegues, family or friends, people are smart food is fresh and prices are ok. I recommand this place if you like good burger!

Very cozy and welcoming, with great service every time. The cakes are some of the nicest you can find in Oulu. The burgers are excellent, although a bit on the heavy side and could use some lighter salsas or sauces instead of mayo to balance that out.
Really friendly vibes downstairs at the pub too!

Ps. Try the portobello burger, it's bursting with flavor.

I have to say this is probably the nicest and coziest cafe in Oulu. There is lots and lots of room here for even a large group to eat and drink. The selection of stuff you can buy here is amazing. There are burger's, steak, pastries and all kinds of different drinks here. The staff is also very nice and kind. I give 5/5

Good size of portions. They have quite a selection of burgers, a buffet, a bar, craft beer as well as other dishes. Unfortunately everything's written in Finnish. So rather take someone to translate or ask for it.

Fantastic food here last night! We were a group of 16 and being Saturday night, the place was full and lively. We waited about an hour for our food, but not a problem as we were having a social drink anyhow. Most of our party ordered burgers, including one gluten/soya/dairy-free option and there were appreciative noises all round. I ordered a chicken caesar salad and it was by far the best caesar salad I have had, to date! Highly recommend, but if you go on a weekend, anticipate a wait, but I promise you it's worth it.

Amazing Vegan Burger, after a long trail we arrived to oulu to take our bus to the airport, stopped here and I was amuse by the vegan burger, was delicious, the service was fast and the place really beautiful!

Amazing vegetarian options. Staff is queer friendly
