great skate shop, super cool owner and good product

I went here on a whim and I’m glad I did. You could tell this is a skater’s skate shop, but without any pretentiousness. Mind you I haven’t touch a skateboard in over 15 years. All of my skate references are 20-30 years old lol. But, my man Julio took the time, with a lot of patience, to explain to me in detail all of the various “new” skate brands - even gave me the low down on who started the brands and any connections they might have to older brands I’d be familiar with. Super friendly vibes, no gatekeeping. Humored me in reminiscing about 30 year old skate part too lol (Pat Duffy Plan B Questionable, look it up if you don’t know :)). If you’re like me, dude in his 40s trying to relive a little part of his youth, 100% get your gear here. (Or whatever stage of your life/stage of skateboarding you’re in). Super welcoming, knowledgeable, good convo, good vibes. 100% recommend if you’re visiting Barcelona and thinking of buying some skate gear.

I was in Barcelona a few weeks ago looking for wheels to complete a setup. Tried a few places which were all great in their own ways, but Petshop had the OJ wheels we were after, and had such a welcoming, friendly feeling in the shop. Ended up having a nice big chat with Julio the owner about Animal Rights, skating, and everything rad about Barcelona. Definitely the best skate shop in town 🔥🔥 Thank you for the skate tool as well Julio, it was endlessly helpful 😊
