Absolutely love this place and especially since they’ve introduced a whole range of vegan cheeses. Their vegan kimchi is my fave in the city. Keep up the good work guys and please open up a shop in Poblenou.

Ferment 9 is a business that is driven by passion, something that, unfortunately, is rare to see nowadays. They don't only sell exceptional products that are created with love, they also help you with any doubts or questions you might have about fermenting, knowing that this might go against their profits. I am just grateful the passion for fermenting comes first; money follows.

Heaven on earth!

They sell true/real/non-pasteuraized, high quality products. The quality is just world class, and they have available a wide varieaty of products.

Certainly the best fermented store I’ve seen in my whole life. Being honest is the place I’ll miss the most in Barcelona.

The taste of every product is just delicious. And belive me, I have test horrible saurkraut. But this one from Ferment 9, was GLORIOUS.

Amazing place! Superb fermented goodies, especially kimchi (half a dozen varieties) and kombucha. They also have a variety of products offered "a granel" - olives, "encurtidos", even some chorizos, etc. Highly recommended if you are looking for a dose of healthy microbiome-friendly deliciousness:-)

Stumbled upon this place while walking from my apartment. What a gem with so many different fermented goodies! All the classic like kimchi, sauerkraut and kefir but they also make a wide variety of their own unique foods. I bought some fermented olives with orange and fennel and the pineapple, ginger sauerkraut is out of this world! Good prices and helpful staff.

Their homemade kombucha was just what I needed on my trip. Kombucha is not easily found in Barcelona. The staff let me try samples and were Very knowledgable about products offered.
