Always come here when in calpe. Haven't had chance to visit area for over 4 years and was happy both Roy and Wan were still here. Always have the set menu which is great value and the food was as good as usual. Definitely worth a visit. And we will be returning when we are back in calpe in May!

We thoroughly enjoy our food here whether lunch or dinner. Been coming for years, 4 or 5 times per summer holiday. Well done Roy and Wan.
Review updated for 2023. Nothing has changed, still great service and food and we still come regularly during our holidays whether spring summer or autumn.

The best food in Calpe if you want a great steak forget the steakhouses come here instead.

We visited Max restaurant last week just for drinks, we got talking to the owner and asked who MAX was, he then went on to tell us all about his beloved dog Max and that he lived until he was 21! Then about his tabby cat he has now and his poor kitten who only lived until it was 14 months after an operation. I came away thinking what a lovely person and any animal that he takes on will have the best home ever! Oh! and the drinks weren't bad either.

Food A'star coupled with exceptional reasonably priced fare/food. Comfortable surroundings friendly service. An obvious winner for me and my lady.

Bardzo dobre jedzenie, gulasz był pyszny.
Do tego duża porcja, a całość niedroga.
Zupa chili również była pyszna.
Tutaj dają po prostu dobre jedzenie.
Gospodarz również był bardzo miły, czas oczekiwania na dania był krótki.

Gorąco polecam to miejsce tym, którzy lubią dobrze zjeść.
