Las Delicias

We came three times during our 4 days trip in Barcelona. It’s very close to Park Güell and is well worth the visit. This came as a recommendation from our Park Guell tour guide. The atmosphere and staff are great and always make you feel extremely welcomed.

The prices are so fair and competitive, generous portions and the food quality is absolutely impeccable. There is an English menu so language is not a problem.

Food recommendation:
- Padron pepper (ordered small every time we are there)
- Potata Bravas (Ordered large everytime we are there)
- Steamed fresh mussels (what I ordered was small for just under 6€ but check the size in comparison to my hand! It was huge!!)
- Catalan Crème - so good!
- fried squid
- Seafood black rice (so flavourful)
- Pork shoulder
- Seafood pasta was wholesome and fresh.

We also had pork crackling and fried fish - they were great as tapas with drinks.

Drinks:
- Coffee was one of the best I had in Barcelona. €1.60 for a Cafe Leche - absolute bargain
- Sangria was amazing! It’s about €3 a glass, very generous in size and you would pay €10 elsewhere in Barcelona.
- Beef with lemon was also beautiful. So light and refreshing.

Note
- this is a great quick stop for a snack/drink or dining in place
- weekdays it’s easier to get a table. Weekend (lunch and night) - please expect a bit of a queue but the staff operate efficiently, so it’s never a long wait.

Hands down the best restaurant we’ve been to in Barcelona! We arrived late but the lovely waiter sat us down very quickly, and they were super efficient in order taking and recommended us all the must-try’s. Sadly they ran out of paella because it was late but we opted for the seafood spaghetti and omg it was the best we’ve ever had! Sangria was huge and make sure you try the grilled octopus charred to perfection. Definitely check this place out when you’re in town!

Great place to eat tapas after visiting Parc Guel. Very kind service, also the food was delicious. Come here and enjoy!

Place where you can rest and eat really good meals. We back here after 3 years and nothing change 😀 still good and tasty. I can recomend that place for everybody who want to go to the top of Carmel park or get direct bus to Tibidabo.

This restaurant is amazing! The food is great for its price. The waiter seated us very quickly and the overall experience was great. Definitely would come again.

A very pleasant surprise to find this restaurant by chance while strolling down from Turo De La Rovira and looking for a mode of transport.

Saw a couple of patrons sitting by the seats outdoors and checked if they are still serving and they welcomed us even though they are approaching they siesta time at 4pm.

Asked for their recommendations and we ordered the mussels with sauce, patata bravas (spicy potatoes) and deep fried calamari. It was amazing, and price point very reasonable and affordable.

Will definitely come again.

Awesome local food, great prices and location! They have a few tables outside as well as indoor seating. It was a beautiful sunny weekend day so the line was out the door for an outside table, we were too hungry to wait. They do have a version of the menu in English which was nice. We tried the mussels, calamari, tomato bread and potato dish. Everything was outstanding! Super reasonably priced as well.

Great place for tapas, free wifi, excellent and fast service, pictures on the menu make it very easy for a non-Spanish speaker to choose and picture their lunch.
Prices extremely reasonable, paid around 30 euros for 4 tapas, two drinks and a dessert.
Perfect spot for lunch after a morning at Park Güell!

Had tapas here after a trip up to the bunkers and all the food was freshly prepared and very tasty. The service was excellent and friendly with helpful suggestions.

Great service and very tasty local plates and seafood. Better book in front to be sure you will find space. Very friendly staff.
It's easy to arrive there with a bus directly from the center.

Coming from park guel and going to the bunker this is a real tip! Very friendly staff, tasty food and perfect pit stop. Sat here 3 hours instead of the planned 10 minutes.

Yum! Ok. Had the Secreto Ibérico, Chorizó, Champiñónes, and the chicken something delicious… all of it. Chorizo is usually over the top for me, but the one here is fabulous. Has some good beer and wine, finished off with Profiteroloes and Crema Catalán; all fab and delicious!

Best bar/restaurant in carmel. Generous portions at more than reasonable prices. The best thing about this place is the tireless efforts the staff make day in day out. Highly recommended if in the area

Close to Parc Güell and the Gaudí House Museum. Offers typical Spanish dishes, salads, desserts and coffee. The staff was extremely helpful and kind. The food is excellent and affordable. The place is quite cosy and is great to have lunch or dinner with the whole family.

We ate so much food and it was all delicious. Super local place, there wasn’t any tourist and the waiters didn’t speak English which to be honest made the experience even more authentic and nice. Would come here again. Also, best Crema Catalana I ever had in Barcelona

We came here by accident and it was best decision we could’ve made! Great food, good beer and affordable prices. Highly recommended!
