Fantastic place! We spent over 7 hours here, strolling around the outdoor exhibits, watching the dolphin show, and going through the many underground exhibits showcasing a wide variety of fish including sharks, rays and eels, as well as turtles, seals, beluga whales, and penguins. And so many birds - flamingos, ducks, ibis, swans, and spoonbills. Take your time! It's well worth the price of admission.

This aquarium is well maintained and clean. Animals appear well taken care of. Staff are very friendly and most speak English.

We went in January, with no lineups, but still recommend buying tickets online ahead of time. Got to go straight in! Be aware you can bring in water bottles to drink, but no food allowed. This is to make sure you don't feed the animals. Reasonable request considering the circumstances!

This was definitely a highlight of our stay in Valencia. Highly recommend going for the day!

Great place for the whole family, beautiful surroundings outside and the aquarium itself is really well managed and spacious. Even when busy, it’s quite easy to look around. It’s a fair bit of walking but lots of places to sit down.

Is this place magical? 100%
Super well organised, with a clear concept that the main purpose of the centre is to educate and preserve the environment, not purely to entertain.

The tanks are absolutely stunning, especially the ones where you can walk underneath, in the tunnel.
It can get quite busy and noisy over the week end I guess, a lot of children (understandably!) so if you want to have more of a mystical experience maybe come during the week or very early in the morning.

What an amazing place this one was! We spent about 6 hours here and there was still plenty to see. The highlights were the majestic belugas and the jellyfish - you can stare at them for hours!
The whole place is clearly signposted and the staff are generally very approachable and friendly (except that one guy in the cafeteria) and even though the prices are high, they seem reasonable for what you get in return. A must-see in Valencia!

Hands down the best aquarium I have ever been too - A great variety of spaces and stunning marine life, all in pristine facilities. We went there thinking it would be a couple of hours, but easily spent 4 - 5 enjoyable hours. Dolphins were definitely a highlight 🐬

Would certainly recommend going if you get the chance. Plenty of choices for food if you get hungry too - Great place for a family trip out

Its a really nice aquarium with a lott of animals and fishes in it. I was surprised to see piguins there too! Its really worth the price and i recommend going there but make sure to go early as it’s really big and might take 2-4 hours to go around the whole place.
Just wished it would close a bit more later as it closes at only 6pm

It was an interesting experience.
It's advisable to purchase tickets in advance. The animals are all in good condition, clearly well-cared for!
The dolphin show was wonderful. We also recommend arriving early, as seats fill up quickly.

Recommending buying tickets in advance so you can skip the line. Need to know exact day and time of the visit to do so. There are some discounts if you buy combo tickets with other landmarks in the city. You can google it to see which ones. Also you need at least 4 hours to see all parts of the place, its really big. Dolphins show is worth it.

This place is a true gem, and here's why:

The Oceanographic is incredibly well-maintained, showcasing an impeccable level of care for both the marine life and the visitors. The size of the facility is impressive, offering a vast and diverse array of exhibits to explore. It's like stepping into a world of aquatic diversity and beauty.

One of the standout features of the Oceanographic is its cleanliness. Everywhere I looked, the facility gleamed with cleanliness, making the visit all the more enjoyable. It's evident that the staff takes great pride in maintaining a pristine environment for both the animals and guests.

The exhibit layout is both extensive and well-organized, with various buildings dedicated to different marine themes. Whether you're fascinated by sharks, mesmerized by dolphins, or curious about penguins, there's something here for everyone. The diverse range of exhibits ensures that you'll never run out of new and exciting things to see.

The quality of the exhibits and the welfare of the marine life were top-notch. It's clear that the Oceanographic is dedicated to providing a safe and comfortable environment for the animals. From playful dolphins to majestic jellyfish, the experience is nothing short of magical.

So much more than an aquarium. We spent hours there and didn't get to see it all. The kids had a great time hoping from one creature exhibit to the next. The animals all seem to be top priority and well cared for. So many different animals to see and very up close.
Tye dolphin show was a clear favourite. Lots of fun and amazing tricks. Make sure you arrive early because there is limited seating.

Combined with the Museum of Science, it's the perfect way to spend most of your day here. The whole place is very beautiful, perfect for a date or with your family/friends.
There are small bars to get a drink, ice cream or fast food everywhere.

This is an amazing place in Valencia for adults and children alike. Be sure to book in advance as it can be quite busy on weekends and in the summer. This was not my first time and I feel like each time there is something new to see or appreciate. There are several buildings, all by the architect Calatrava, and they are amazing. Parking is non-existent, so best to take public transportation.

This is definitely 100 times better than bioparc. It's got a huge space almost like the Disneyland of aquariums. It's easy to spend 4-6 hours here except the food options are terrible here so some people suggested bringing your own food. The dolphin show also is very boring, maybe it's very humane and kind to the dolphins but there was 70 percent lecture on saving the dolphins and 30 percent show. Kids couldn't even sit through it, the Spanish audience were the best though, they were singing and dancing thru the music which was much more interesting than the disorganized dolphins. To compare, even a tiny aquarium in Hokkaido Japan had a better dolphin show. However they do have some really cool tanks. I
There was one underwater tunnel they had Atlantic fish which was not so pretty bit there was another tunnel with sharks and tortoises. It's very cool. The bird case was a cool structure but looks better from the outside than from the inside. The octopus is totally cool to look at. The whole area is pretty big but it's not too hard to walk it all. Not really sure I saw it all but the kids were too tired to keep going after 5 hours. Highly recommend the sharks, penguins, belugas, flamingos and the octopus. Very very fun place. Worth the entrance.

No words- just emotions! Very big oceanographic museum with the biggest aquarium in Europe. Pingouins, sharks, different birds and dolphins! Do not miss the dolphins show- very educative and fun to see! The entrance is very well organised, the ticket line goes very fast. Lots of different cafes and food courts.

What a great aquarium! Easily the best I've been to. Better than Lisbon's and all the ones on the east coast of the US. The layout is easy to get around with tons of things to do, both inside and outside. Highly recommend going on a weekday. We went on a Tuesday and it felt like there was barely anyone there.

It's been awhile since I've been to a dolphinarium, since the bad press around killer whales I guess. The show was good and the aquariums are all top notch. Show was almost 100% in Spanish but they tried to include English speakers where they could. All of the signage is translated into English. The longest queue was for buying tickets and then we discovered you could buy them online and get into the park from your phone which probably saved us a thirty minute wait. They should advertise this in signage at the queue.

Fab 4 hours spent here. Get there early for 10am opening, park at the centre but get a parking card before you leave to benefit from fixed 7 euro price. Exhibition was clear, exciting and very clean. Interesting seeing the fish, and other animals so close, and arrive 30 minutes early for the Dolphin show to get a good seat and enjoy the antics of the Dolphins before the show. Excellent for the family if you have young ones as there is plenty to keep them amused.

One of the best aquariums to visit in Europe! At least consider 2-3 hrs to make the most out of your visit.

This was so fun! I would recommend going on work days because in the weekend there's a lot of people. It was so pretty, they even had flamingo's (my favorite animal). We also got a discount with our Valencia tourist card.

Visiting Valencia’s Oceanarium was a breathtaking experience. The diversity of marine life, from vibrant fish to elegant sharks, was incredible. Impeccably maintained facilities and the evident care for sea life by the dedicated staff made the visit educational and inspiring. A fantastic destination for anyone in Valencia seeking a blend of fun and learning. Absolutely recommended!
