Easily the best zoo I have ever been to! Absolutely stunning landscaping and happy, healthy animals with large enclosures mimicking nature. So many interesting species to see and you get to see them so close I have never experienced anything like this! 100% worth a visit!

Amazing place with various animals (yes it is not a typical zoo) - the animations are very educational (some of them are only in Spanish) and the visiting path is well designed, no need to look at the map all the time as there is only one main path. The animals are in quite good condition. The dauphin animation starts with a quiz (6 questions) to select a winner to have the opportunity to be interact with the dauphin which is a great idea! However the animation itself is a little bit “messy” as all dauphins are doing different activities on the same time.. the buffer restaurant has a great view on the giraffes and lions.
Highly recommend to buy the tickets online in advance which saves time and money (slightly cheaper than buying on site)

Truly amazing place. It's designed in a way that allowes you easily navigate to see everything without getting lost or using the map, although the map is available.
You can spend there 2h but I'd recommend spending at least 5-6h. Personally I saw the whole park and after that I attended every event possible.

Activities like live exhibition or meeting with keepers are enjoyable even if you don't speak Spanish.

You can get a ticket online, including the meal which is a bit cheaper than buying it on site. Nevertheless it's not expensive either way.

Bioparc is located 10-15 minutes on foot from metro.

I should add that the whole place is so adorable, I'd go there even without any animals inside.

Stunning modern take on a Zoo experience with carefully designed natural enclosures that will make you think "how can just that keep the animals inside?!" and fully immerse you into an authentic Safari experience!

The highlight of my visit was seeing the rhinos and hippos playfully fight! What a show!

We were visiting València for 2 nights and decided we really wanted to visit Bioparc during our stay and it didn't disappoint. We arrived at the gate just after it opened (Wednesday) straight to the ticket desk - it costs around 26 euro to get inside but it's definitely worth it. It's beautiful, like a forest, it looks and feels so natural the way the park has been designed is amazing. There is lots of shade too from the trees and bushes which is so helpful in the heat of summer. The enclosures are big and lots of animals to see. We also sat at a cafe over looking one of the enclosures, it was nice to have a cold drink and watch all the wild animals go about their business. We also watched the bird show which was so well presented. We loved it. If you visit in summer do bring mosquito repellent! The park is nice but it's not big enough to make a day of it, a good 3-5 hours is sufficient depending how fast you walk around the park and if you watch the animal shows they have. I have to say it's one of the nicest zoos I've been too, so clean and beautiful. Great little gem in the heart of València ♥

Wonderful experience, like wandering trough the wilderness. Rocks and trees and waterways nicely done. Very good possibilities to watch all the different animals. There is also a parkhouse right under the street but it is only open untill 6 p.m.

What i like about this place is the fact that it doesn't really feel like a place where you feel bad about the animals. Nothing is in cages, no animal looks bad. They all have their mini habitats with plenty of space, and they look that they are well taken care of. You are kinda emersing in their habitat and look at animals doing their thing, rather than walking in a place where every animal is in a cage, looking sad and under weight. The barriers between the animals and visitors consists of wooden fences, water ponds and plexiglass for the dangerous animals. Overall a nice and happy experience that i would really reccomend. If they would also have capybaras, it would be the perfect place.

More than just a zoo !
Is a remarkable destination for nature and wildlife enthusiasts, offering an unforgettable experience in the heart of Valencia. Designed on the principle of zoo immersion, Bioparc stands out for its effort to recreate the natural habitats of animals, allowing visitors to feel as if they are part of the savannah, jungle, or wetlands, without obvious visual barriers between them and the animals.

One of the most appreciated aspects of Bioparc is its commitment to species conservation and biodiversity education. Visitors have the opportunity to learn about the importance of environmental protection and to observe rare and endangered species in an environment as close to natural as possible.

The park's design is impressive, with attention to detail that contributes to creating an authentic atmosphere. The paths are well thought out, offering visitors the chance to explore different geographic areas of the world, from African savannas to dense Asian forests, without leaving Valencia.

Bioparc hosts a wide variety of animals, from large mammals such as elephants, giraffes, and lions, to smaller species and exotic birds. The interactions between species are fascinating, reminiscent of a wildlife documentary, offering an educational and entertaining perspective.

The facilities are modern and clean, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable, ready to provide detailed information about the animals and their habitats. Bioparc also places a strong emphasis on sustainability, using ecological technologies and resource conservation practices.

In conclusion, Bioparc Valencia is more than just a zoo; it is an educational and conservation journey, offering visitors a unique perspective on wildlife. It is a perfect destination for families, groups of friends, or anyone interested in nature and animals, promising a memorable and enriching experience.

Extremely beautiful place! Worth the visit. Animals are very well look after. I would personally avoid in the summer time if you struggle with the heat, we went in February and it was perfect.

One of the best zoos i have been, it is definitely worth visiting. I loved that the animals had a lot of space and they had at least two from each animal, we all loved our time there

Great experience! Very well organized, you don’t need a map, you can just walk and the paths are arranged one after another so you can enjoy every minute instead of looking at the map and wondering around. Animals are arranged like in real life together, in a huge place and at the same time close to people. They are naturally separated by either rocks, trees or small rivers.

This is a beautiful park and you can see a lot of thought went into how to make the animals comfortable. It is such a surprise to find the big open spaces that the giraffes have. You can sit in a cafe and you are only separated by a small river, it is a wonderful experience. I have been twice now and really recommend you visit.

Freedom for animals and you like a part of wild world, but saved and protected. You can see a lot of animals without cages. You can see how workers feed the animals(lemurs )and these animals eat food near you. This park has interesting show with birds and different animals. For me this zoo park is one of the top three zoos I've ever seen. I recommend to visit

I've been to many zoos and this is among the best. Focused only on African species, they combine several different animals in the same exhibit. For example rhinos and zebras or giraffes and impala. there is a great flow to the design and you usually have different viewpoints of the animal areas. not a traditional cage anywhere. highly recommended.

One of the most amazing zoos I've been to! And I've been to a lot. I loved the vibe when walking through the lush area. Lots of shade and lots of angles to watch the animals for hours if so desired! It was such a fun experience!

The bio park Valencia is an a beautiful and an amazing adventure, worth going especially for friends and families. It’s very clean and cheap (20 euros for entrance). The personnel’s there are very engaging and excited to educate the visitors about the animals. You can tell they are super passionate about their jobs, just by the way they speak about the animals! The animals there come from various different continents, and look soo cool. You will never be bored walking around there - the environment is wonderfully crafted by unique and stylish infrastructure, showing off the animals’ natural habitats in all its glory. It’s very cool to walk around and learn about these fascinating creatures!

A really great animal park - clean and animal friendly. The enclosures blend in with nature, there are no cages.
Visitors really enjoy this place! Suitable for visiting with small children.
Animals can be viewed from many angles. Their activities can also be observed in their private places - caves.
Many food places that allow you to enjoy this pleasant park longer.
What is very important for families with children - there are toilets everywhere.
Some birds are "free range" (see picture!)

This is an absolutely brilliant bioparc, we loved every minute, stayed 4 hours and went around twice. There were lots of school visits in the morning and therefore quite busy but it was quieter in the afternoon.
The whole area was clean, the animals had lots of space and looked incredibly well cared for. The gorilla was phenomenal. He stood up and thumped the glass whilst trying to catch a fly, it was amazing to witness.

It's a beautiful and clean park where animals are not in cages and people go on roads and in tunnels to watch them. It's not huge; one can probably go around twice in about 3h. Toilettes and vending machines are located at several corners of the park.

I read somewhere that there's bonobo in Bioparc, but there's none. They have chimpanzees and gorillas, if you like to visit great apes.

They take photos of you when you enter, with your permission of course, and develop it later. You can buy them for 5€ each if you like them.
