We ordered house potato dish and seafood paella. Best one I had during my trip. Please try these as they are such a pleasure to eat. Ask for recommendation and you will not regret your order.

Great place for consistently solid and reasonably priced meals. During lunchtime, they have a menu for the day where you can select an appetizer and an entree from a daily rotating list. Came here at least 3 times during my stay in Barcelona and the service was great!

Paella 🥘 was really delicious! Had a beer and some cold starters olives,aioli, bread and salad . Staff were friendly and the atmosphere was good.

Restaurant Staff, Ivan was extremely professional in his service even though we had to communicate through Google Translate and single word English.

I told him that I was here for their signature seafood paella but I need the cuttlefish/squid to be removed due to allergy and he was insistent that I do not choose the dish as they used cuttlefish/squid broth to cook the paella, which will still trigger my allergy.

He went back and forth to check with the kitchen if they could still cook the seafood paella without the ingredient and came back to me to say that it was highly impossible as this was one of the cooking process.

Instead, he suggested the chicken & veg paella for a different tasting experience.

Kudos to his helpfulness, patience and attentiveness to check back thereafter if I did enjoy his alternative recommendation.

Definitely go way and above to deliver the good service and make patrons feel at home!

This is a great little Braseria. I rate it a 5 out of 5 for its category. The food was fresh, it was fairly priced, and the service was exceptional. It is so close to a very popular tourist destination and that sometimes impacts the service and quality. This was not the case. You can tell that they cater to locals.

Let me start by saying - I am not a big seafood lover. I can tolerate it. That being said - my wife loves it.
We went here based on a recommendation, and we tried the black rice paella and we did not know what to expect.
Well, what you can expect is that it will be delicious. Wow, never thought I'd enjoy seafood this much, in combination with a vrry unusual rice.
The staff was very welcoming, but it would be wise to have a reservation.
If you want a very good paella, this is the place.

White sangria is the best one so far during our Europe trip. We LOVE the seafood paella and black squid rice. I can’t relate to those who gave low ratings—to me and my husband, the paella are both deeply embedded rich flavored, very balanced and well seasoned(not salty at all), with variety of seafood in them.

Very good food - lovely paella and reasonably priced. The only downside is a few of the staff ( some were lovely though ) definitely don’t like tourists ( don’t blame though them we are annoying lol )

So happy we picked this place as our first meal in Barcelona. We had been trying to decide where to eat for ages and on a whim picked El Glop as we walked by. It was fate because we had an amazing meal here and Giovanni our server was also lovely.

An easy place to walk on by, but truly worth stopping in. A very traditional Spanish menu awaits! We had the Potatas Bravados and fried provolone cheese to start….excellent! Then 1/2 chicken excellently prepared over grill and Ibiza pork chop, it too grilled perfectly. Buenos!

Loved the service, atmosphere and food. We tried the chicken and vegetable paella, and it was delicious (personally I don’t like seafood paella, and this plate changed my mind about paella). Highly recommended, would come here again and again!!

Excellent service! And squid ink paella was delicious! They have one portion paella, which is just the perfect portion. Highly recommended and two thumps up. Paella takes around 20 mins for preparation, and the server served me olives to munch on while waiting

We stopped by to eat here and it was definitely worth it. We had a fantastic service by Mr. David and he made our dinner pleasant. We had spicy potatoes, grilled shrimps and Octopus, the food was delicious and the portions are big, the prices were good and it’s well located in the city center, I highly recommend it.

We had the best experience, Sebastian and Hanna were wonderful, invited us to a cava which was delicious. We have a blast with our group of 19. Thanks for the good memories.

Excellent food and service, reasonable prices.
We ordered paella, which is longer to prepare, but the waiters were always checking on us.
Arrive early (before 8 for dinner) as the restaurant got really full.
