Puerta del Mar is a delightful culinary gem nestled in the heart of Valencia. My dining experience here was nothing short of exceptional.

To start, I indulged in the delectable scallops appetizer, which was a true palate pleaser. The freshness and tenderness of the scallops perfectly complemented by a delicate seasoning left me craving for more.

Moving on to the main course, both the paella and lobster dishes surpassed my expectations. The ingredients were undoubtedly fresh, showcasing the restaurant's commitment to quality. Each bite was bursting with flavor, leaving a lasting impression on my taste buds.

Moreover, the service at Puerta del Mar was impeccable. The staff were attentive, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to ensure a memorable dining experience. Their friendly demeanor added to the overall ambiance of the restaurant.

In conclusion, Puerta del Mar is a must-visit destination for any food enthusiast in Valencia. With its delicious offerings, fresh ingredients, and top-notch service, it's no wonder this establishment stands out among the culinary scene in the city.

This restaurant looked modern with nice decor and white tablecloths. The maître d was very friendly and spoke English very well, as did most of the wait staff.

We had some bread and beer while waiting for our paella to be prepared. Like many places in Europe, you did pay for the bread, but beer was very inexpensive.

For paella, your order had to be for at least two people. Our seafood paella tasted as good as it looked. The seafood was fresh. The rice was very flavorful and had the perfect color and texture (slightly crunchy). This was superior to the ones we had tried in Barcelona and in the US.

This meal was the highlight of our visit to Valencia.

Best service in Valencia.

I really love going to restaurants. In Spain I constantly encounter bad service in restaurants. But here I received a level of service that deserves respect. My waiter was Luisa. She was nice and gave recommendations. Knows several languages. With her service, I just relaxed in the restaurant without worrying about anything. The food was delicious.

Haven't had such an amazing experience for dinner in a long time. Aylin made sure we had everything we needed. Don't shy away from the Paella with Snails and Rabbit meat, because it tasted absolutely amazing!

The food is simply incredible. Highly recommend the scallops as an appetizer and the Valencian paella as a main. The only thing better than the food was the service. Staff are extremely friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. Special shout out to Jessica the greeter and Davide the bartender who both went the extra mile to ensure we had a great experience. Jessica even provided us with tips on what to see and do in Valencia. Highly recommend.

The place was recommended by our hotel receptionist. Came here for the Paella and it didn't disappoint. The other tapas and drinks were also very good! There was also live music which makes dining feel even more sincere. Make sure to book as the place can get quite full especially for dinner service.

We loved this restaurant so much we had to go back twice to eat different types of paella. With only (more or less) 25€ we could have entrée, first course and dessert + water/wine (which is not included in the menu). Paella was delicious! And staff is amazing, especially Gisuel! :)

I had a solo dinner date and my server, Maria, was very nice and even I’m practicing my Spanish, she still helped me through it! Very fancy feel, the food was delish and overall had a good time. (Also the Agua de Valencia was dangerously good).

The food here is INCREDIBLE — highly recommend the paella for dinner and torrija for dessert. Thank you Delanie for answering all of our questions! We already have plans to eat here one more time before leaving town.

What a local gem! Absolutely wonderful tapas, paellas and excellent service! Sangria had a little bit too much ice for me and mire watered down than usual. Highly recommend here!

Just had another wonderful time in this restaurant. Exceptional paella, excellent service and great music. My wife and I travel extensively and visited this beautiful city for only four days. We would never usually eat at the same restaurant twice during a short stay but this was well worth the exception. We will definitely be back again.

Fantastic attentive staff. The paella was for a minimum of two people, £14 each person. They fill the pan up more if more people. It was delicious and the perfect ammount. Sangria was light and refreshing. Desert was crème brûlée- stunning! The singer sung beautifully however because we were at the table next to her and we’re old we couldn’t hear ourselves converse but it was better listening to her anyway ;)

Everything was delicious, from the paella to the entrecote. The vegetable appetizers were unique & so well done. A great place for meat-eaters & vegetarians/vegans alike. The wine selection & cocktails are also on point. Also Johny’s suggestions were excellent, as was the attention!

Great seafood rice (apparently, it is not meant to be called paella if it is seafood) and tasty entrecote. The desserts are delicious.
